I know not everyone agrees, but we were looking forward to Reflections. Obviously, no one could have predicted the past 2 1/2 years and the fact it's been cancelled (postponed??!). We had enough interest in this that it could have been the first DVC direct we bought in a very long time. Never say never.....!

I didn't get into DVC until after the plans already fell through but I saw others talking about it and did a medium dive into it just to see what it was all about. And I agree, I totally would have bought direct there (well maybe, depending on restrictions and points charts.) Anyway, after info diving, it definitely made me sad that it's probably not going to happen anymore. And with Desantis now taking punitive action against Disney, that's probably not going to make it any easier.

I think it was way more about the pandemic and the economic issues that allowed them to revisit the project. The move back to doing another monorail location was probably a tad less expensive and likely easier to sell based on past experiences. Maybe in another 5-10 years, they'll revisit the site again. At least they finally got the old River Country area tidied up a bit - that was not good either.
