Anyone have this luggage? It is a big investment for me. Would love to hear your experience.

Yes, I have used Briggs & Riley. It is quality luggage, I will give it that. But take time to really think about what you want in luggage, some features are not for everyone. (that would be me! )

My mom has had 3 sets over the last 25 years. Her first and second set she LOVED. I had to hear about that luggage more than I cared to.


Now, the last set ... she did not care for. And I could see why as I used it for my dd on a cruise before she got her own full set. The newest has the 4 wheels. That is controversy, but I much prefer the 2 wheels because they can stand the test of time checking them since they are inset unlike the protruding 4. It also did not have any dividers/pockets inside, just a mesh zippered top which I found just okay. The bags extender was plastic and for some reason felt cheap. It held up, but still didn't like it. Lastly, the attachment for the smaller bag was to place it on top of the large bag. It made pulling/pushing the luggage terribly difficult. I hated it. And the attachment was odd. You pulled a large piece on back of small luggage, and secured it to the handle of the large piece. That thing swivels and would make it feel like it was going to fall over.

I don't know their current design, but if you post pics of what you are looking at I will tell you if it is similar.

If it is similar to the first two designs my mom had my guess is you will be really happy with it. If it is closer to the third, you might feel like we do.
