I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading the Dining Reviews. That said, I didn't take ANY pictures which I know people love to see so I'll write up a brief summary instead of hits and misses. We were on the DDP, 2 adults and 2 children under 10.

Many of our CS meals were back at the hotel (Old Key West). We hit the parks early, took afternoon breaks so CS by the pool, and then dinners back at the park.

Where we ate:
8/25 (arrival): Wolfgang Puck Express. Always a fam fave. I was worried that the online menus didn't show BBQ Chicken Pizza, but it was there! Not as good as I remembered. We also had a Margarita Pizza (not a hit with the kids) and an order of Spaghetti with Meatballs (yum). For dessert we got some brownies (too dry) and chocolate chip cookies (yum) to go.

8/26: Hollywood & Vine F! package. We had a bit of everything. Overall food was good, hot and fresh.

8/27: Crystal Palace pre-RD breakfast - the food was just OK. I tried the puffed french toast for the first time and was honestly not a fan. It looked like it had been sitting for a while (our ADR was for 8:35). Scrambled eggs a little runny. We still had plenty to eat but had to wait a while for Tigger. Long enough that we actually got up to leave. Kids needed 1 of 1207 potty breaks of the day and as we got out of the restroom saw Tigger 1 table away from our former table. We ran over, our server told us to just sit back down since they hadn't cleared the table yet so we got our pics.

8/28: Coral Reef lunch. I was a bit apprehensive about this one since it got so many mixed reviews. It turned out to be everyone's favorite meal of the trip! I had the mahi mahi which was DELICIOUS and that sauce, yum. The shrimp on the plate were a bit dried out but it otherwise would've been a perfect dish. My bf had the steak, which he said was the best steak of the week. He's not a very adventurous eater. At this point I felt the kids had enough fried foods so I steered them towards grilled chicken for my ds5 - who loved it and dipped into the chutney which was on the side. My dd8 had the grilled salmon which she thought was just OK (a bit plain, she's more adventurous) so I gave her some of my mahi which she loved. We were really full for dessert but I tried the chocolate wave which was good and everyone else just had fruit and/or vanilla ice cream.

8/28: Rose & Crown dinner. I was most nervous about this one. I didn't think the menu was all that appealing but it always gets great reviews and I *REALLY* wanted a great view of Illuminations so was hopeful. At checkin I asked for a table with a view, they said they'd put in the request but couldn't guarantee it. I was THRILLED when we were led to the first row of the outdoor patio area, front and center!! We had about a 20 minute wait so checked in at 7:30 and were seated close to 8. OK, the food. I had the steak and fish - delicious. My bf had the Shepherd's pie - delicious. Both kids got the fish & chip - dd8 liked it, ds5 didn't so I ended up sharing my steak with him which he enjoyed. Dessert, I can't remember what I had but it was good - something chocolatey. We got 2 specialty drinks both in the souvenir glass which were both yummy.

I'll finish the rest shortly. Questions are welcome as well.

8/27 - Forgot to include 'Ohana which we had that night. I had been most looking forward to this because we've loved it every time. With all the changes - we were a bit nervous. It was GREAT! Except for the lettuce wraps, we hated those. We didn't miss the chicken skewers, we were fine with the wings. Some of the beef was a little fatty so we just asked for more when a diff person came around. The potstickers we had a 2nd portion of. We left VERY stuffed and happy.

8/29 - 1900 PF for dinner. We ate here once before, years ago. Food was terrible but character interaction was great. DD asked to go here so we went. This was the only ADR which really had us waiting, about 30 minutes. This time the food was much better - the carving station and the hot dishes. The character interaction kinda sucked. I felt that all the characters were rushed at our table. One stepsister asked if I was painting the picture because it took about 10 seconds for my phone camera to focus. Obviously I don't expect a full 5 minute conversation but I think being at the table for more than 45 seconds shouldn't be too much to ask for. Compared to the parks where I felt guilty for having the kids talk to the characters so long and said let's give the other kids a chance, this felt very not worth the $ since the kids didn't eat much anyway.

8/30 - Tusker House lunch. Our ADR was for 12:30 but we were nearby and starving at 11:30 and they were able to seat us within about 10 minutes. Breakfast must've just finished because I let the kids pick their own plates and both came back with Mickey waffles and sausage. :confused3 There were a lot of vegetarian options. Overall food was good and characters were fun. And I think I swallowed down about 3 cups of the jungle juice. Yum.

8/31 - Be Out Guest for dinner. We had lunch here on our last trip so were looking forward to our first dinner here. We all enjoyed it but bf liked the lunch choices better. Overall, it was good but don't think I'd use a TS credit again. Bf had the steak which he enjoyed (but not as much as Coral Reef). DS had the steak and it was soooo small that even he, appetite of a rabbit, was able to finish. DD got the meatloaf which she loved at lunch last year - same size. I had the shrimp & scallops pastry which was sooooooo good. For dessert we had the grey stuff (overly sweet grey stuff on a hard brownie which tasted 1-2 days old) and a chocolate cream puff pastry which was MUCH better. Kids had too many sweets during the day so got fruit cups which were typical fruit cups.

9/1 - Raglan Road, this was a first time for us. Started with the heaven on earth ribs, these were SOOOOO good. I didn't think the kids would eat it so got 1 order, then I wished I had gotten 2. Everyone grabbed and devoured these. Bf and ds both ordered steak again. All our cs meals, DS kept wanting chicken nuggets & fries so I tried to switch it up for dinner. BF said his was good, still not as good as Coral Reef. DS didn't want his, some of it was fatty and the rest was over charred. DD said the mac & cheese was just OK and she ate about 1/2. For dessert the kids had the chocookie thing which was huge - 2 scoops of ice cream, 2 chocolate chip cookies crushed, whipped cream and fudge. I had the chocolate kiss dessert which I thought was just OK. BF was too full so had just ice cream. Overall star of this meal was def the appetizer.

Overall favorite - Coral Reef
Most disappointing - 1900 (for me, dd said it was her fave)
Standout dish - Heaven on Earth ribs @ Raglan Road
Best savory snack - egg rolls in China kiosk. You get 2, so good. We wanted something to tide us over until our dinner ADR and it was soooo good.
Best sweet snack - anything in the caramel store @ Epcot. caramel filled chocolate cookie and chocolate and caramel covered pineapple soooooo good.

That's about it. Hope that helps someone. Any questions, feel free to ask.

There was a 2nd visit to WPE. Instead of the bbq chicken pizza I tried the roast turkey sandwich which I really enjoyed. It was super hot so we got the frozen yogurt for dessert, 1 topping included on DDP even for the kids. I had the chocolate fro yo with strawberry topping - so good and refreshing. Bf got the creme brulee which was good. Both kids got vanilla fro yo with rainbow sprinkles. It was definitely better than the brownie from the first night.

So glad to hear your positive Coral Reef review!! We just switched to Coral Reef from Chef de France, I was a bit bummed but it fit MUCH better into our schedule with the FP+. Hearing the positive review has made me feel much better!!

Funny, I was actually tempted to switch to Chefs but I had let each kid pick 1 restaurant and my son REALLY wanted to see the fish tank. My bf who is a non-seafood eater said "guess I'm getting steak" and then before I got a chance to ask for a bite, it was gone. We had a table on the side but there's truly no bad view.

Also, we tried the natural strawberry lemonade with wild berry foam which my dd8 was still talking about 2 days later so that's recommended too. Enjoy!

Awesome! Thanks so much for the recommendation. Its greatly appreciated!!
