Bridging to Annual Pass Question

Hello!
Since the "All Things WDW Tickets" stickie thread is here, I am posting my question here about bridging tickets.

My family has decided we will be doing a few long trips (5-7 days) and a few weekends this year so we are going to get Annual Passes for WDW. Of course I want to do this the cheapest way possible and have been looking at options and reading up about bridging tickets.

I want to verify that I can do the following scenario:

Buy 6-day Park Hopper + Water Park Fun & More Tickets with No Expiration from UnderCover Tourist for the adult price of $545.25. I can go in Magic Kingdom my first day, enter the turnstile and then go to Guest Relations to convert them to Annual Passes. UnderCover Tourist says they are $65 off the gate price for these tickets, so the cast member would bridge my ticket to be worth ~$610.25 each ($545.25 + $65 to get it to gate price) and then I pay the different of ~$38.34 per ticket to upgrade them? I know we can not use any of the WaterParks & More tickets or we have to get Premium passes, so we won't do that.

Does this look right? In particular, I have the following Questions:
1. Can you bridge or upgrade a non-expiration ticket? I couldn't find that anywhere.
2. Since Annual Passes are the same price for adults or kids, is it ok to get the most savings by buying all 4 tickets as Adults that I will be bridging? (One of my kids will still be under 10.)
3. Does UnderCover Tourist have the "value" difference from Gate Price correct for the non-expiration ticket? I can't compare on Disney's site because they don't show the non-expiration option anymore.
4. Can I pay the upgrade costs with Disney Giftcards? I saw that the ticket stickie said Cash or equivalent, so I wasn't sure if that was considered equivalent at Disney.

Thanks in advance for your help!! I just don't want to screw up when you are talking $2600 dollars!

1. Yes.
2. Nope. Since the kids cannot USE the "adult" tickets to enter the park before doing the upgrade.
3. HERE is a better price list.
4. Yes. You can use many as you'd like.

Yes, you can bridge that ticket. And that is the best ticket to use for AP bridging. You would need to buy child tickets for the kids. And UT's prices and illustrated savings are accurate. Gift cards are fine.

If you get Mary's Mousesaver newsletter, you can save a few more dollars linking to UT from the newsletter.

Here is a thread from a some days back discussing similar.
