Bridging tickets

I had planned on buying AP seasonal passes when I arrived in Florida for the last week of April. I did not need the extra 3 months but I had no idea the prices would also rise. What are the best tickets to buy in order to upgrade to an annual pass when I get there? Currently booked for Hard Rock that week with APH rate. Also, will EP be needed mid-week for the last week of April? Debating on if we need to stay at HRH.

You want to buy whichever tickets have the biggest discount, that is not a direct Universal promotion. So a discount that is given directly by one of the authorized resellers. The promo tickets that are actually put out by UO itself, even if bought through a 3rd party, are credited at the UO promo price (in other words, for the "Buy 2 days get 2 days free" promo tickets, UO credits it as a 2 day ticket for upgrade purposes). You can usually tell these promo tickets as they have specific expiration dates and say "promo" on them.
