Hi all! Who can tell me where the walkway bridge is located from Saratoga Springs to Disney Springs. I believe it is complete now, right? Where is Disney Springs does it leave you? Planning a trip in the fall and would like to get ideas for walking downtown. Thanks!
Also, if anyone has pics, they are always welcome. More exciting to see :)

The walkway is complete, and the bridge is near the Marketplace bus stop at Disney Springs. More info and pictures here: http://www.wdwmagic.com/attractions...ock-and-walkway-to-saratoga-springs-opens.htm

If you are in the Congress Park section of Saratoga Springs and facing the water view of Disney Springs, the walking bridge is to the far left. Just walk left along the waterfront sidewalk. When you cross the bridge you will be at the marketplace dock and you can take a water taxi that stops first at the west side dock, then The Landing dock, then back to the Marketplace Dock. This is fun and can save you some walking, but of course you can skip the boat and just walk everywhere. There is so much to see! The Disney Springs shopping and dining area is really beautiful and is full of lots of new stores and restaurants. I wish I was there now! Check out the new Sprinkles cupcake ATM! Enjoy!

Technically, there’s a 2nd bridge, to the opposite side of DS. It goes basically from below the Turf Club restaurant at SSR to the (former) Cirque parking lot.

But the newer bridge from Congress Park to DS is really nice.

Our last stay a SSR, we were in the Congress Park building closest to the new bridge... but we walked over to the boat dock and took the boat back to DS once.

Not worth doing again, but we just wanted to experience it.

How many stops does the ferry make?

The boat goes from Disney Springs to SSR. No stops. But it only starts at one dock at DS. You'd need to take the ferry that goes between the stops at DS if the boat didn't dock at the one you were at.

I’m lost.

It travels between ssr and ds only, no other places, but has multiple stops on both sides?

No, it makes one stop at Disney Springs and one at SSR. It goes back and forth. There is another boat that goes between the stops at DS. There is still another boat that goes from DS to OKW. And another boat that goes from DS to POR/POFQ. None of the resort boats stop anywhere but that one resort and one stop at DS.

about every 30 to 45 minutes and it takes about 15-20 minutes

Is there a walking path? I'm actually trying to get back from a DVC walk thru. Looking for quickest route. On google maps it looks like there is a walking path to a parking lot and maybe could cut across.

If you are at the sales office, you can walk to Congress Park and then take the bridge across to Disney Springs. It might still be about 15 minutes to get to the movie theater. If you need it to take less than 15 minutes, you need to modify or change one or the other. There is another bridge near the boat dock that gets you across to near the Cirque theater, but even that, you'll need at least 15 minutes. You cannot walk on the golf cart paths, so make sure that isn't what you are seeing on the map.
