Bridge tickets to Magic Key?

Can I bridge my three days park hopper ticket into a Magic Key? If so, does the entire value of my three day ticket get credited to the Magic Key or just the last day when I bridge?

I am doing this for a family of five. We have a three day trip to disneyland and lost our APs when covid hit.

Assuming it's eligible for upgrading, yes, you can put it towards a MKey. You'll get the full value you spent. The upgrade must be done by the end of the last day you use your ticket.

…and if you can, it’s a lot faster to do on your phone through the app rather than going to the ticket booths.

Yes you can. Note that there are only two keys available right now and one is for Southern CA residents only. So make sure you check to make sure that one key (or both) would work for you. The Enchant key is mostly only good on weekdays and is blocked a lot of the summer. Upgrade on the last day of your three day trip so you don't lose your reservations.
