Bridesmaids gifts/welcome bags

I really want to give unique bridemaids gifts...things with meaning, not just something that they will never use again. I thought of giving jewelry for the wedding, but it's not about me, so I decided against it. I'm willing to spend a little more than normal because they are already putting so much out for me. Any ideas? Also, we wanted to make welcome bags for our guests but I have absolutely NO IDEA what to put in them!!!! And how do I deliver them...especially if there are people that are arriving before we do? Thanks!

I think I am going to get my girls luggage. Most of them I know don't have nice set of luggage, and I think it will be perfect for the trip. I am going to give them the gifts a week or two before we all leave for Disney. I am also going to add crystals to one of the pieces for each girl that will say their name and Disney Bridesmaid. I'm probably going to get my MOH something different because I know she has a nice set of luggage.

For welcome bags, I'm getting the reusable Disney grocery bags. I will probably put in bottles of water, DF's and my favorite chocolate bars (we both LOVE chocolate), some fruit, a schedule of events and transportation, and a 2011 magnetic Disney frame. Then, after the wedding, I'll mail our whopping 15 guests one of the group pictures from the wedding.

You might not be able to personalize them yourself but there are vendors on Amazon.com who will put a name on a carry on. I did this for my niece, we took a trip to LA for her 15th birthday and she lives in Chicago (I lived in Minneapolis at the time). I ordered the carry on and had her name put on it as a gift and she was so surprised and excited when it just showed up at her house. I got free shipping because it was over $25 too!

You could buy boxes and ship the items yourself from the UPS or FedEx store, both will even pack things for you. Having 7 nieces and nephews all living in a different state, I ship a lot!!

How about personalized luggage tags? Ones that have their names and some sort of Disney theme. Or - this would be something I know everyone would appreciate - can you get some sort of voucher for the airlines for a free checked bag?

Had to edit and add another idea I had as soon as I posted!! What about a nice cosmetics bag? Like a small one for travel?

I have had my welcome bags printed with my wedding logo at Vistaprint and I am very impressed with the way they have turned out. The link to my PJ is below if you want to take a look to see what I am putting in them. It might give you some ideas!!!
