Bridesmaid Dress Opinions Please!

Actually It's not a beach theme at all, It's an early October indoor wedding with a Celtic/Irish theme.

I was concerned that #1 did look too sundress like. Everyone still think either is ok for my theme and time of year? lol

Every time I think I'm ready to decide......well...you know...I change my mind!

I agree with tinkerbellz about the fit and I like the second dress better. When it is adjusted the girls will look better which will complement the beautiful bride The color is great for your theme!! Personally, I think the shine of the second dress and the style will go better with an October wedding for certain! A good steaming will keep the dresses looking nice through the reception I think

I would go with the first dress. The second shows a little too much cleavage for a wedding. You don't want your bridesmaids to look cheap.
I love the color. Bridesmaid dresses are always a tough choice with so many differing opinions. It is your wedding and it is your choice.

Just remember to have fun. Your wedding is just a day and your marriage is a lifetime. Relax and have a blast!

OK I have finally decided on #1 - it really came down to the shine and the cleavage! I invisioned seeing the girls on my wedding day and felt that #1 fit better with the occasion. And like someone else said #1 gives them a more uniform look - the shiny dress really calls attention to the different bust sizes...and shows a bit too much for my wedding. I also think that dress #1 has a more natural earthy green. We're using shamrock plants on our tables and that green matches very well.

I'll post pictures of the big day when it finally arrives and then you can all see if I made the right choice!

I would definitely say #1 for all the same reasons previous posters stated about #2 (shine, wrinkles, etc.)

I would also suggest that dress #1 would look even better on ALL the girls with the proper undergarments. I am a busty girl as well, I had a similar style strapless dress for my best friends wedding (10/16) and I tried on the dress twice. Once with just a regular strapless bra.... BLAH!!! Then with a good well fitted bra and what a difference!

alter #1 and you have a winner! i was in a wedding with 8 girls sizes 2-32 and we did a strapless... sounded crazy but ended up looking awesome on everyone with the correct alterations!!!

I love dress #1.Dress #2 is nice, but the fabric is hard to wear.

I agree, dress #1 fits better on all different shapes-they will be more comfortable.
