Brides who used/are using a PINK color scheme

Pink is my favorite color, but there are so many different shades and so many varieties of warm, coral pink to cool ice blue pink, how did you make sure your pinks didn't clash without going crazy?

I just picked a light, md, and dark pink that I liked together and really didn't over think it. I think it blends well. But I did learn that it needs some green or yellow or something too. Well in my opinion.

My colors are Fuscia pink(a light fuscia,not like a screaming bright fuscia) a medium pink and a light pink,I have a picture in my planning Journal of the color flowers I like.

Oh yeah I am going to use Ivory too.It's a light ivory(color of my dress) and I made sure that the color of the bridesmiad dress goes nice with my dress and it does.

Green is really pretty with pink and like Laura said yellow too if you want to add another color.

I'm sticking with all pink lol,oooh lavender would look real pretty with pink too.

At first I was going to do a sage green but then the pink came out of me I love love love pink!

Pink and chocolate brown are beautiful together too. If I was getting married in the fall that's what I would do.

I am using pink as well. I am doing many shades of it and accenting it with green. I am not one for everything matching. I much perfer coordination. I will show you examples of what i am doing...

My bridesmaids are all wearing different dresses but they are all long, the same maker (bill levkoff) and the same color ice pink-

Their bouquets will be green hydrangea and pink rossini roses in this color range:

My bouquet:

Our altar arrangement will be groupings of glass vases with ivory roses to match by bouquet, pink hydrangea and green bells of ireland

Our tables will have silver chivari chairs, dark pink sheer overlays, silver satin napkins. Our centerpieces will be in tall glass vases like this:

the flowers will be green hydrangea, pink roses, ivory roses,and limes thrown in as well. These were some inspiration photos i used for the floral people...

Our WDW wedding we used 2 shades of pink only...one very deep and the other medium, the flowers made a huge impact. The handle was ribbon tied. They did a beautiful job!
IMO the green or introduction of another color makes the pink loose that impact....

My bouquet consisted of rosini roses, pale pink roses,pink lisianthis, white stephanotis and green hydrangea-

Maids Green hydrangea and Rossini Roses

Center Pieces Rossini Roses, White Lisianthus green hydrangea and some greenery.

My mother has a thing where she thinks that all arrangements need a touch of white or ivory - so that is the reason for the white stephanotis

I'm using bright fuschia and orange for my colors. Pink will be the dominant color though since it's my favorite I think the bright colors look really striking against the white dress and black tuxes. Plus, since the colors are so bold, you only need to use a little of them to make an impact. I'll have very simple centerpieces and then touches of the two colors in the napkins, menus, etc.

I love the pinks & greens! I also saw a bridesmaids dress this weekend that was done in the chocolate and pink. Had I not already picked all of my colors I would have had to go with that because it was stunning!

I am glad you like them, Mary - I really loved them! I had such a hard time with flowers trying to decide if I wanted soft or if I wanted shades of bright and light pink....I knew I wanted the green hydrangea in there. But I was definately please with the way they turned out!
