Hey ladies! (and gents!).. I was just wondering how often you all visit WDW.. my guess is that most of us must be HUGE WDW lovers if we are getting married there and I'm just curious as to how often you all go.

I personally haven't been in a while for a LONG vacation (even though I was there for three days last May) and can't wait to start going again with my soon to be husband for week long trips! I'm slowly working on making him fall in love with WDW as much as I do ... I've already got him contemplating getting a disney credit card so he can help me rack up the disney points! haha. :lmao: I'll turn him yet!!!

Well, as I'm from the UK I have probably been the least - I've been there in 1986 when I was 10, then to DL Paris twice - so my wedding/honeymoon/cruise extravaganza is verty exciting for me! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! :)

Our first (and only, so far) visit to WDW was for our wedding in 2005. We would love to go back, but haven't been able to work it into our budget just yet. It actually costs us more to kennel our three dogs than it does for us to stay on site at one of the value resorts!:rotfl:

We'll get there someday (and use our Disney Visa to rack up some points in the meantime!;) )

I didn't have to "convert" my DH...he was the one who suggested the Disney wedding in the first place.

Well, can't really fully answer your question. For the last 7 years or so, I have lived on and off in Orlando. I have been there to many times to even think of trying to count them all. I know what you mean about your DF, and turning him into a disney nut. I am working on mine as well.

I know what you mean about kennelling - it's costing us £2,000 ($4,000) to kennel ours next year! :scared1:

Ever since 2003 Df and I have gone every year. In 06 it was our first time staying on site, the pervious years we atayed at his sisters house in Orlando. We were down in MAy and we are going in September for a weekend for our planning session, wedding is in march then we plan to go next march for our anniversary! I want to take advantage of the AP so that's why we are going to go for our anniversary.

I went with my parents twice when I was little first time I was 3 and I remember it like it was yesterday. We never stayed onsite just visited family down there at the time and made a day trip to Disney.

We are local as well....so we avg. twice a month....unless its food and wine...then i live in epcot

We usually go once every other year. The closest together we have ever taken trips was one in Oct followed by one in December. We had planned the one in December and then DH had a conference at the Dolphin, and we couldn't pass up the chance ;)

Well, I can say that I don't visit nearly enough!! :)

I was fortunate enough to go quite a bit when I was younger, thanks to my parents and various school trips. As far as trips go now, the best was of course our 13 night stay for our wedding/honeymoon-we'll never be able to top that again! (unless we are able to win the lottery and quit our jobs/school!)

On average, we try to go once a year. However, that means "giving up" other vacations (the beach, etc). It's worth it to me, but I promised my husband that next year we will go to the beach or somewhere tropical. (that doesn't mean I won't try to sneak a long weekend trip in somewhere!)

We're actually leaving for WDW on Thurs (8/9)...so I'm going crazy counting the days :)

I am in Canada and usually go about three times a year now. For the last 4 years I have averaged 3-4 visits a year.

Well I'm from the UK too but have been fortunate over the last number of years to have gone quite frequently, but this post prompted me to tot it up and since 1996 I have been 18 times with 14 since 2002 - heck that's a lot no wonder I'm broke LOL LOL

Sadly due to Paul and I's work schedules this year it doesn't look like we're going again this year (I was there this past May for another wedding) but next year I have two trips already in the calendar.. yayyyyy!

I need to find a home for our little doggy for when we're away he usually goes to friends but i still give them money and it can expensive but holy smokes £2,000 that's a lot of money for kennels I bet they're really good :) ?

Oddly enough, it was DF who turned me into the Disney nut! We live about 2.5 hours away so we try to make it down at least once a month. For special events we go more often. The "at least once a month" rule does not apply to June, July, or August! :rotfl: I haven't been to the World since early June and we won't return until Labor Day weekend. Come on Free Dining! :woohoo:

Prior to working there in 2001 I had visited about 35 times. Since then I have gone back 4-6 times a year (DF works in FLA right now)
There is nothing like a Disney Vacation I am counting until Sep 22 when we go back again for 2 weeks!

Well I am also in the Disney nut category...I have been there just about every year since I was 5 with my family. For the past few years we have started going down at least two if not three times a year for special events.

My friends all think I am crazy! We are cheap though and stay in the campground. My wedding will actually be the 1st time I have stayed somewhere else in all the times we have gone there! (you can even bring your dogs!)

This year I went down in April for my planning session, I am going in October for Halloween and to get some wedding stuff, November we are going for the wedding, and again in December for Christmas...wow I am crazy:eek:

That's the best way to make frequent trips. We have maybe 1 or 2 trips a year where we actually stay on property and eat table service meals. We've never stayed at Ft. Wilderness, but I'd love to! I've always told DF that when we retire I want to buy a RV, live at Ft. Wilderness, and work for Disney!

Thanks to my DVC, I've been a few times this year. Before that, it was once a year for the last few...

I'm skipping this year, though and renting out most of my points. I have a wedding to save for!

Not often enough! We were able to go last year for a weekend and that was it. This year we hope we can go for a few days and take our daughter for the first time. :)

I probably go at least 6 weekends a year. But I'm spoiled because I live and go to school just over an hour away. That will all change once we get married in May though. Then it will be once a year I'm sure.

Another big Disney nut here. Before Dan my family and I had been there 20+ times. With Dan we have been averaging 2 trips a year. One longer over a week trip and then we manage to fit in a 4-5 day trip. We had the wedding this year wich was 2 week trip, in Jan it was the PS and that a few day, and now we are going for a short 3 night trip in early dec for some Christmas fun:banana:

We will be cutting it back and have even contemplating doing "something else" for our first year anniversary but that just doesn't seem right to me!
