Bride & Groom Mickey T-Shirts?

I had an idea this morning to get bride & groom t-shirts for us for the following reasons: 1) to leave our reception in style, 2) to wear at least one day on our Disneyland mini-honeymoon, and 3) to wear on our WDW honeymoon.

I know I can get numerous Disney shirts (without Bride & Groom) or numerous wedding shirts (without Mickey/Minnie), but I'm wondering if you know the best way to combine the two.

I found a website (CustomInk.com) where you can upload a file. Their "Disney" collection is non-Disney (a non-descript castle, a pumpkin, a pillow with a glass slipper, a mouse that is definitely NOT Mickey.) I was wondering if anyone had experience with uploading what I assume is copyrighted material? Or if there's a website that is allowed to use Disney characters? Or if there's a better way that I'm just not thinking of? I'd rather not make it myself, but if that's the only way, I guess I'll find out here.

Any help you crafty folks?

I'm going to move this thread to the Creative DISigns forum. Someone there should be able to point you in the right direction!

I guess that would be more appropriate.

So I found Zazzle.com, where they have a whole line of customizable Disney products, so I'm all right there, unless there's a better company or a good reason not to use Zazzle.

They don't have bride and groom Mickey and Minnie, though, so I'll have to go with something generic.

I can go with full-figure and color Mickey on the groom shirt, Minnie on the bride shirt, but I'm not a fan of Minnie's colors. There are also a few graphics of Mickey/Minnie together, so I could put the same design on both shirts, and make them different colors. Or I can do black and white (which always appeals to me.)

My favorite Disney movie is Snow White, and my DF's favorite is Monster's Inc (we named our cat Boo). I could also do something with this, more personalized, but then we wouldn't match AT ALL. And Monster's Inc. is not a romantic love story, so it just doesn't fit. Should it matter? Will I want matching shirts for all the pictures and such?

Any DISign suggestions?

Zazzle's great. It can be kind of expensive. You could try buying some transfers and ironing on yourself. It's alot of fun. Here's an idea.

Natalie has some beautiful wedding designs. Check her wedding thread.

Does anyone know why I would be having trouble viewing designs today? I always have been able to see and all I am getting today is a red x where the design should be???\

No idea about not seeing pictures. Try the tech board?

Those are really cute graphics! I was looking for something a little simpler, though. But I took your advice and checked out Natalie's DISigns, as well as some others. I haven't found exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm getting a lot of ideas.

Here's one thought (that should be really simple for you creators out there):
Groom's shirt: Black with white Mickey head and "Groom" in black text in the head.
Bride's shirt: White with black Mickey head and "Bride" in white text in the head.

Does that sound simple, bold, yet effective? Any takers?

So this is what I created on Zazzle using rumblytumbly's Mickey head designs. I haven't decided what to purchase yet, but I'm leaning towards the Mickey/Minnie set, as that was the theme of our wedding. (I would obviously make sure the font matched, though, because I'm still deciding on that.)

not sure if you saw the wedding designs in Natalie's photobucket or just on her various threads.

Kari - I love those Bride and Groom MH's! They are too cute!
