I know there is an old tradition where the bride and groom are supposed to exchange gifts the day of the wedding. Did you all do this? And if so, what did you get eachother?
Also, while I am well aware of this tradition, I am about 110% positive that DF is not. I don't want to get him something and then have him feel bad for no getting me anything, even though I could care less if he does or not! I mean he is giving me his undying commitment that day, you can't ask for much more than that!
So did you or didn't you and what are some good ideas?

Okay this is where i open my mouth and insert my foot.
oh well...it was the thought that counted...)
So, after our rehearsal dinner we sat on the balcony at WL and he handed me a box and said "This is something I can't believe I got you but I know you'll love and display" and I opened it and it was Wedding Day Barbie - well if I hadn't already been convinced he was perfect that did it!!
And the card he gave me, I just cried! I gave him a fancy boxed handkerchief to use the next day (which he forgot!) and a book of love quotes (and I added some of my own that reflected our relationship) which he still keeps in his desk.
