Bridal Shower Tea Party?

I REALLY wanted to do a bridal tea in Disney before the wedding, but I don't think there is any way budget will allow, so I started to think about doing something similar up here for my wedding shower. Has anyone done something like this or have any opinions? I am trying to find a venue that would work well, I found one I LOVE but it is about an hour and a half away and since I'm having guests travel all the way to Floridia for the wedding I know I can't make them travel far for the shower. I would love to try and get a small mad hatter cake somehow too. I am thinking sandwiches, scones, teas for the menu. I don't have too many ideas yet, any suggestions? I'm not sure if I want to make it like a mad hatter Alice In Wonderland type tea, or just a regular tea either, but leaning more towards Alice in Wonderland theme since it's one of my favorite Disney movies and I think it would just be really fun!

My family is hosting my bridal shower, my cousins to be exact. The theme is Mad Hatter tea. They are doing tea, sandwiches, petit fours, scones and of course all the fixings. They sent out hat shaped invites, and are using tea pots as centerpieces.

It's all very cute. We also have to wear outrageous hats.
