Bridal Shower Invitations

Ok I have a question about wording the bridal shower invitations.

I found the invites that I want and did a mock up of them on the website. So I showed it to my FMIL because she is hosting the shower and she said that some of my DF's family might not know who I am when they receive the invitations (which is weird) but anyway, she asked if I could put his name in there somehow. How would you go about this???

Why would they come to your shower if they don't even know your name? I haven't met most of DF's family, but I'm sure they know my name. I just find the fact that they don't know your name incredibly rude.

I would Put Toni & DF are registered at, bed, Bath & Beyond, Target, Etc.

This is definitely something I was thinking of doing. It seems to be the easiest.

I agree that this is rude. I don't know why I have to have people I don't even know coming to the shower. So silly.

I don't think its so far off base that people might not know your name. My FMIL is throwing me a shower, and has apparently invited a bazillion of her friends who wouldn't know me from Eve. It's a little overwhelming.

I think there's also something to be said for naming the host of the shower, that might lead people in the right direction.
