Hi ladies!

I was wondering how dirty the bottom of your dresses were after your bridal portraits? Was it super noticeable?

Nothing noticeable on mine. I had a ball gown style and we trimmed around between frontierland and the castle, through fantasy land and even hopped out to get pics on the railroad tracks. And it had rained all night. And I was wearing flip flops. :-/

Between walking the Boardwalk the day of our wedding and our Bridal Portrait at MK (9 years ago today) my dress got filthy but you can't notice it in the pictures.

Oh goodness. Our wedding is the same day as our bridal portrait. It's something that I want, but completely worried the dress will be a mess before the wedding.

We did our portraits 2 months after getting married. My dress got really dirty the day of the wedding and I chose to get it cleaned before our bridal portraits.

My dress got extremely dirty and WET after our MK / Epcot bridal portraits! At magic kingdom they were pressure cleaning all the sidewalks (which I heard they do every morning) and they didnt like to pause as we were walking near. We actually were even holding my whole dress up as we walked but we had to put down for pictures. I had heels with me that I only wore for pictures that you would see them in and I wore flip flops all other time... My flip flops got trashed. I'm very glad I didn't wear my rhinestone heels more because they would have gotten ruined.

Now with that said... I wouldn't do them before my wedding - with how dirty my dress got and also with how extremely tired we were having to wake up super early (I woke up at 1:30 am for hair and make up at 3:30 am and pick up was 6 am).
But I know that it is able to be photoshopped out if your dresses dirtiness is visible in pictures.

If your dress touches the ground but doesn't have too long a train, you might try putting clear packing tape along the underside of the hem (the part that touches the ground but isn't visible) for the shoot and taking it off before the ceremony. My dress did get pretty dirty during the shoot, but only on the underside of the hem because I had the train bustled up.
