bricks outside DL

Can anyone help me with the brick outside DL and DCA? How much are they and who do I talk to about getting one? I called DLR and I kept getting transferred with a response of "hmm, I'm not sure hold on let me transfer you to..." Not even my friends who work at DL (they are performers though) know much about it.

There used to be a kiosk on the Esplanade. That was a LONG time ago...

Actually I think they may still sell them. I just called Disney Delivears a few weeks ago and one of the automated options was for the bricks. I didn't listen to it (so for all I know it tells you they are no longer available) - but you could try. I think the number I used was 1-800-362-4533.

They are still selling the bricks, I just bought one for my wife and kids. I do not remember the e-mail address but you can call the Magical Memories office at (800) 760-3566 for all the information.

I just called them and this is what I found out. A brick costs $150. You can put on each brick a total of 3 lines and each line contains 16 spaces(including letters, numbers, spaces, and punctuation. Pretty much the only thing you can put on the brick are names, city, or state, or one date. The next installation by will be going in next February.

You can get bricks, you can also have a commemorative brick to keep on display at your house for another fee. I have a friend in the UK who got one, I took photos and sent them to him.

only $150 wow I thought they were way more expensive. I have heard rumors though that you can't put RIP or In Memory of because Disneyland doesn't want to be associated with death, dying, or depression

You can't put anything other than Name, Location and date... I tride to put "First Visit" to commerate my DD's first trip to DL and they wouldn't allow it... They stilll have the dates but only we know what it means... My DD6 and my DS4 each have their own bricks... We take a picture whenever we visit:

Does anyone know if the profits just go to Disney or if some of it goes to a charity? I'd assume just Disney, but I thought I heard something a while ago about a nonprofit...

They give you a certificate that has the brick lot and number on it so it's easy to find as well as a map with the general area of the espalande marked. Also the replica bricks will have the lot and brick numbers as well.

THANK YOU for this info! I thought there was no hope. I actually asked about these at Guest Services last year and the CM there told me they were no longer selling them. Glad she was wrong! I am going to buy one for my family for Christmas.

They only guarantee the brick will be there for 10 years. But hopefully its forever Either way its a really good deal imho.

My family got one for me as a gift. It is located near the entrance to DCA. I wonder if it will be dug up and relocated when the make the new entrance to the park.
