For those of you who, like me, are tired of every other word coming from stand-up comics mouths being bleeped. Or who get a bit tired of the majority of stand-up's content revolving around sex, racial ethnocentrism, and so on, then you will probably love this guy.
Brian Regan is now my all-time favorite comedian. He's hilarious and doesn't flood his program with the usual dirty material that most of us are used to from stand-up comics. He has either two or three specials out now. His latest aired on Comedy Central last weekend. It's refreshing to see a comedian bring the house down without constant swearing, or making gay, racial, or sex jokes.
Good all around comedian.

Who is the one that talks about hot pockets and muffins?
I like him

That is Jim Gaffigan, I think.
Gaffigan's Hot Pocket bit is a classic. And I also love when he talks about our holiday traditions. Good stuff. :lmao:

I edited the original post of this thread. Forgot Brian's last name is spelled "Regan", noy "Reagan". Definitely have his DVD of the latest stand-up special on my B'day wish-list.

DH & I are also huge Brian Regan fans. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 We've seen him live a couple times and he was even funnier in person.

David Letterman seems to also be a fan, he has Brian Regan on his show on a pretty regular basis.

^Lucky.:thumbsup2 Did you guys get to see his latest special (The Epitome of Hyperbole)?

Anyone seen or heard John Pinette? He is just hilarious and clean too. I went to go see him Memorial Day at the Borgata and that was the 5th time I had seen him and he cursed. It was hysterical because there were several children in the audience and he kept apologizing and then after the show when the kids met him he apologized to the parents.

He is really funny and alot of fun to watch because he laughs at himself sometimes.

Check him out on Youtube

I've seen his special a few times. Funny material, and very talented comedian. I liked the part where he was in Europe and made a mad dash to Italy for authentic Italian food.
The waterpark bit had me in stitches.:lmao:

We are big Brian Regan fans! Finally clean humor that is really funny! We love him!
I love the hot pocket skit by Gaffigan too. My dd14 LOVES Hot Pockets so we all got a big kick out of that one!:rotfl:

I've been a huge fan for years and he's my favorite comedian by far.:thumbsup2 We've seen him several times in person, and he is just beyond hysterical.:lmao: :rotfl2: His Comedy Central special, "Epitome of Hyperbole", is on again tomorrow night at 10pm.

Regan has one about the car that involves calling the "backseat, middle, feet on the hump." We're always joking about that when we go on long car rides.

Jim Gaffigan, I think.

in a high whispy voice "Hoooooott Pockets......"

Mikeeee

"Hooooot Pockeeeeeett. That's good. That's very good. Not as good as your 'Byyyyy Menan', but very good." Jim Gaffigan is hysterical! We just saw him in concert a couple weeks ago. Great show, pretty much suitable for all ages. I think I heard one swear word from him the entire hour and ten minutes he was on stage. The best line of the night other than the Hot Pocket jokes ("Did I eat it or rub it on my face?") was in a bit about his wife always waiting until he's just about to fall alseep to ask him 20 questions. Jim and his wife get into this big argument and his wife finally says in exasperation, "What would you do if I ever left you?" Gaffigan says, "I don't know, probably get a good night's sleep."

Brian Regan is one of my all time favorites! I've gotten to see him live once and can listen to his CDs and watch his shows over and over and over again! I was just teasing my friend a couple of days ago, because she used the "you too" phrase incorrectly! :lmao:

teacher: ( on science project)

"What's that Brian?"

"Well, it's a cup....with dirt in it...I call it CUP OF DIRT"....just give me the F and keep moving on...
funny you started this thread as I just ordered 2 of his DVD's for Christmas gifts..he is a total blast!:lmao:
