Another couple we're friends with is trying to convince DH & I to come to Breezes Bahamas with them next spring (no disney?!?! :earseek: ).

Has anyone stayed here? Should we do it? It's a GREAT price!!!!!!

All I've heard so far is that it's not a 5-star hotel so if you're not expecting that then you're all set...

Any input to help me make my decision would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!!! :flower:

I was supposed to go there with an ex GF. We broke up before the trip. However, I know LOTS of people who went and they LOVED it. Usually crowded, food was very good, and lots to do. I gather about 3.5 stars.

My boyfriend and I went there a few years ago and enjoyed it. The food was good, especially the sit-down restaurants. After dinner we would walk down to the casino. There were lots of activities going on during the day and night. But we pretty much just relxed on the beach.

The part of the hotel we were in was going under some sort of renovation. Didn't really bother us much. Just wasn't pretty to look at.

The only downside to the hotel was that they don't have King beds. Just two double beds. We just pushed them together.

But for the money, it's a great vacation!

I stayed there quite a while ago. If you can get a good price, go! It's nothing fancy, but it's on a great stretch of beach and if you just want to go somewhere warm to relax, drink some tropical drinks, eat some half-way decent food, have a nice beach and some good night life, you'll like it! No, don't expect a 5 star, but if you no that going in...you won't be dissapointed!

I keep reading things about wristbands there. Does anyone know if there's like a cruiseship excursion to that hotel or something? :(

I know that there are wristbands for the Atlantis, never heard about anything for Breezes.

Yes, we did have a wristband. That was so the staff would know you were guests there so that you could get your free drinks and food.

There were no cruise guests, but I guess other people staying in the area could just walk in and use the facilities. So this way they know who is really staying there.

No, to prevent them from coming in and using the facilities. :)
You get the wristband when you check in.

Is it just adults going? Because if so Sandals might be a better choice-I believe that is the sister to Beaches which is geared towards families. Just an idea.
