Hi All
Anyone familiar or has flown Breeze in to MCO? The prices are very good but the reviews not so much. It’s about 80 cheaper then delta and 200 cheaper than SW. Delta has layovers but I’ve had good experiences with them in the past. Just curious if anyone here has flown Breeze and has any input? Tia

I haven't flown Breeze into MCO yet but I have flown Breeze (direct CT to AZ) and I thought it was fine. Long flights but I was still pretty comfortable. Went into it knowing they don't have TVs/entertainment and brought my own snacks and water I got in the airport so I went in with pretty low expectations and was pleasantly surprised.

Is that price difference when you went all the way through or just the initial price? I'm sure you're aware but Breeze is one of those airlines that along the way of booking you will have to pay for your checked bag, carry on bag, and if you want to pick your own seat. It still wasn't too bad for me since I only did a carry on but what did it was the direct flights. I would fly Breeze again if it's the right flight and price.

Haven't flown Breeze since they are fairly new and don't fly to/from a lot of cities yet. With any of these budget airlines, you need to look at the TOTAL price of the ticket for all of the options you would choose. It can be very misleading when searching the various travel websites which only display the BASE price of a ticket. There is another similar thread going on as well. If they only fly to/from a particular city a few days a week, if there is a mechanical issue or perhaps weather delays, they probably won't have another plane sitting around to take up the slack. The risk is you might be stuck for a few days and have to consider if that risk is acceptable to you.

That’s exactly what it is. I’m only going for 2 days so I could easily pack a back pack as a personal item but more and more I look into it Delta basic economy seems the best bet. I get a carry on and I don’t care if I’m stuck in the middle. Solo traveller

Have not flown them yet, but expect an experience similar to other low cost carriers. So if you’d be okay flying Frontier or Spirit, you should be okay flying Breeze.

In your case, I’d go ahead and book Delta. With only 2 days for your trip, you don’t have much wiggle room for a problem. Plus, as a solo traveler, the $80 is not a huge difference. I’m usually flying a low cost airline to MCO, but it’s as a party of 8 where an $80 difference balloons to a $640 difference in costs.

I have looked into Breeze a bit. They started flights from SNA direct to MCO. But I am not finding the prices to be much better by the time I figure in bags and choosing seats. And it is only 1 flight per day each way (and I think not every day). So while it is more convenient to where I live, I am still going up to LAX and taking the Delta direct flights (prices ultimately similar when extras added on Breeze and I get free bags with Delta with my AMEX), but there are 2-3 other Delta LAX-MCO flights per day so if there are issues, I have options.
