:earseek: :earseek: :earseek: We are leaving in two days!!! (not counting today)

Several questions that have been piling up in my brain. Can you help?
1) Why do I need to order water bottles and haul them around if I have a Brita bottle that I can refill with ice and water?
2)Does POR have internet connection?
3)How much is milk at the store at POR? We are on dining plan so we will have most meals at the park but will have breakfast in the room. Do you guys bring cereal boxes and pop-tarts or do you buy them there?
4)Do you transport your detergent in a special container or do you buy travel-size?
5)I have been using this website as my main source. Should I get the guidebook from the bookstore tonight? What info would I find in there that I haven't already read here?
6)If I can't find "bodyglide" near my house what can I use instead?
7)When people say, "bring a change of shoes to the park to change in case it rains" are they saying that they saying that they bring shoes for the entire family!!!! :faint: I mean I am trying to convince DH I am not nuts but when I haul 5 pairs of shoes to the park along with the other "necessities" he is definitely going to bust a spring!
8)We NEVER got travel tags for ME and when I called they said just go to the Disney Welcome Center and take care of it there. Am I in big trouble here? We are arriving at 8:00ish am on Sat. morning. Should we pack breakfast and eat on the plane?

This is the beginning of my crazy OCD, ADD, ADHD rant and I am not kidding! Help me veterans. :wave2:

Ok...I have answers to less tha half your questions but what I know (or think i know) I will share

1. If you have the Brita bottle use those and don't bring others. This is what we did and it worked well. Also at most counter service places you can get free glasses of ice water so you can refill the Brita bottles as needed with cold water.
2,3. ??
4. I brought the small sized tide bottle from Target. Each does 4 loads, I think, and only cost a buck.
5. This is my main source of info but I laso bought a few books. I just plain like to read but also there is a lot of good info right at your finget tips. Example: I wanted to see where the resort was in relation to the parks...In the UG I just opened to the page and had my answer, I could have found the same info online I am sure but probably would have taken me longer. I loaned my UG to my parents to read in preperation for upcoming trip with them and I have to say I miss it...can't wait to buy the new 2006 copy!
6,7,8 ????

And that is all I can help with!! Good luck, take a deep breath and it will all will work out...Magically!!!

Several questions that have been piling up in my brain. Can you help?
1) Why do I need to order water bottles and haul them around if I have a Brita bottle that I can refill with ice and water?
- Just do that. It's fine I think

2)Does POR have internet connection?
- I don't know. I have not stayed there. But here's some blurbs about it:

3)How much is milk at the store at POR? We are on dining plan so we will have most meals at the park but will have breakfast in the room. Do you guys bring cereal boxes and pop-tarts or do you buy them there?
- I usually buy my stuff down there. We are DVC members and make meals in the room. We use a rental car.

4)Do you transport your detergent in a special container or do you buy travel-size?
- I just bought the little travel size from Target. Yes, it was $0.99. I plan on putting dryer sheets in a ziploc bag.

5)I have been using this website as my main source. Should I get the guidebook from the bookstore tonight? What info would I find in there that I haven't already read here?
- Nah, I don't think you will need the guidebook at this point. It would be like trying to read the Bible in two days :rotfl:

6)If I can't find "bodyglide" near my house what can I use instead?
- I don't know what that is :)

- No we just bring a change of socks. Usually does the trick for a little while at least. Also since you are staying on site you have the opportunity to go back and change. The rain you'll experience at this time of year are short bursts, so you may miss all of it entirely

8)We NEVER got travel tags for ME and when I called they said just go to the Disney Welcome Center and take care of it there. Am I in big trouble here? We are arriving at 8:00ish am on Sat. morning. Should we pack breakfast and eat on the plane?
I would just bring some stuff on the plane. Hey, here's an idea, bring your pop tarts and nutra grain bars you plan to eat for breakfast at the hotel in your carry-ons! ;)
