I always pumped and carried a bottle with me for emergencies. Let Dad give baby the bottle, and let Mom enjoy the mass!

Jeanny said:ok, so if a woman whips her b..b out in public to breastfeed, it's ok, but if she just whips it out in public or flashes someone, then it's lewd behavior right? what's the difference again????
poohandwendy said:One would think a church would be the very last place a woman would be judged for breastfeeding in public...I guess not.
I think it's written in the bible that you're supposed to.katerkat said:Ha - the shirt I was going to wear today showed way more skin than I do when I breastfeed. And I'm a fairly conservative dresser.
You know, I hear all the stories about the non-discrete breastfeeders, and I have to admit I've just never seen one. And I'm in the Northwest which is pretty liberal about it. In Disneyland, I picked out a couple women who were nursing -- but I really wouldn't have known what they were doing if I wasn't a nursing mom myself. Even in the Baby Care Center the moms were pretty discreet about it.

The woman was sitting there in her bra (only her bra) with one **** out feeding her baby. Was it necessary to take the whole top off? I had to do a double take to make sure I was seeing correctly. Am not joining the debate - just had to share my story.

So true...so very true....

I think it's crazy that people breast-feed up to a year or two old.
It shocks me.bride03 said:I think it's crazy that people breast-feed up to a year or two old.It shocks me.
bride03 said:I'm sure she was not saying that Jesus would take any offense. I swear, some people on here are just so rude. It's offensive to some that a mother would whip out her breast and start breast-feeding right there. I think of my body as something that should not be slung out and shown to the world. I don't mind people breast-feeding if it's all covered by a towel over the shoulder or something. Why deny people their right to be comfortable? If this is how some feel about it, they have their reasons??I think it's crazy that people breast-feed up to a year or two old.
