Breast Cancer Walk @WDW?

I hope that I am posting this question on the right board- I am newly registered, but have been visiting the DIS since 2000. Is there a breast cancer walk at WDW? I thought I read on these boards, or Intercot that there would be a breast cancer walk in October at MGM. I will be at WDW the first week in October and would be interested in participating in the event. Anyone have any info?

Yes, there is a 10K at WDW on Sunday 10/10. Here is a link to the site that was e-mailed to me when I registered ($25). I'm walking in this event......well, walking VERY FAST...have to do a 15 min mile.

I haven't visited the site yet....maybe I'll go do that right now!

I believe this is what you are looking to find. I went to the Komen.org Web site and checked for Florida.

Have fun. I plan to participate in Cleveland Ohio and it is such a moving experience. Plant to participate in all of the events offered. It is memorable and inspiring.

Hmmmmmm. are there two different races that weekend? Sunday is the Disney's 10K Classic presented by Foot Locker. Looks like Race for the Cure is on Saturday. Sorry if I've confused you!
