Do you think people who are hosting falling chairs are breaking the VMK rules with pay and revenge? It says on the web page that if someone makes people pay in order to play a game is to be reported. well, I think it sounds an awful lot like that. What do you people think?

this is really an issue left to the Game Designer... i have no idea on this topic

From what I read it said that only Quests were supposed to be free. As far as games go they are pretty much fair game though I am sure that VMK people would rather not have the pay or revenge options. If you don't think paying is fair then don't do it.

I don't pay. I was just playing falling chairs and I thought about what it said.

VMK does not allow making people pay to do a quest, but it is up to the owner of a game room to decide if they use "Pay to Play" or not.

Personally, I would just leave if I was asked to pay. I think people would find their game rooms much more popular if they make them free to all. :) When you find yourself in a room that is being run in a way you don't like, search for another - there are always LOTS of other VMK'ers running great rooms for all to enjoy. :thumbsup2

Lori is correct. No one is forcing you to pay, but no one is telling you not to. personally, i wouldn't pay unless the prize was very rare!

Well, the original game is free. It is up to the player and the owner if they want to continue and pay. I think it's a bit time consuming and confusing to pay, I've eliminated it from my games.

One of my friends on VMK (SpongeboyZ and SpongeboyA) say that pay is wrong. I thought about it and it is. He said "It is wrong to pay! It just means that the owner is greedy and wants more and more stuff." I agree. ::yes::

i agree, i hosted one of these rooms the other day cause i was bored and people will pay and pay and pay to stay in the game, my prize wasn't rare and i didn't understand it because why pay again and again when you might not even get a prize or the prize may not be worth what you are giving? the owner is only giving away one prize while he or she is receiving many!

many game owners will settle for a stupid tshirt for pay. i know i would but anyway no where in vmk values does it say you arent allowed to make people to pay to go on rides or play games. so just deal. and i use my pays for prizes or designing the room. sot there.

Alot of times my friends are in some type of cafe room. So I follow them if i'm bored and alot of times if I want to go in and sit at a table they ask me to pay to enter. I'm like, ' if I have to pay to enter a virtual game with food you cant even touch, what's the point of coming? ' I just dont understand :sad2:
