I don't remember if I posted my pic on here or not...so I'll just post one. We went with complementing blue as our primary color.
I like this next picture -- not because it is absolutely perfect (it's not, we obviously have wrinkled clothes, DD not smiling and hair all over, etc) but because it really is us looking casual and relaxed. Since we knew our DD would be sitting between us for most of the shots, we did not go with the same blue color for fear that she'd be washed out against the blue of our shirts. And I think white wouldn't work as well with the white hammock, sand beach, etc.

We are a family of 5 and plan to book a session at the GF during our week July 4th. I check this thread often for tips, etc.


The blue is gorgeous and exactly what I was talking about with complimentary shades of the same color.

We decided to go bold this year with RED!!! Yes, I'm going against the norm but thinking that they will also make a great Christmas Card picture this year...and besides, the last two years we did family photos in light green and then blue at the GF...need to go with something wild for the poly!
