Breaking NEWS PHOTO SESSIONS!!!!!! :-)

Great family PP photos :goodvibes! Think I like the red shirts best for PP photo shoot!:thumbsup2

Thanks, I ordered them from Disneyshopping.com last year when they ran a special for personalized stuff and they were great. We wore them to the parks earlier in the week and got a lot of comments. It made it easy for the CMs to know how many were in our group. :rotfl:

I've been reading through the posts and I just want to clarify. When you pre-order the Photopass CD, Did you get the $25 sitting and then pay for a cd for those pictures or that's included? Or is that more? I guess what I'm wondering is what the total cost is.
I called today and they told me the sitting with at CD is $150 and $50 more for a photopass CD too. If I pre-ordered, I'd save $25.
Thanks!
Kristy

We just pre-ordered the CD online, and it was $99.99. That was for JUST the Photopass CD. On the bottom of one of the confirmation emails, there is a notation saying we can call and book a private photo session for $25. If I'm understanding thing right from some of the other posters (this is a first for me!), we will get our private session pics on a CD as soon as our session is complete, and most CM's are also adding the pictures to a Photopass card for inclusion there as well. So, total cost for us will be $125 (Photopass CD + Private Photo Session).

Regular price on the photo shoots are $75, so we're saving $50.

Hope this helps! :goodvibes

I concur, as we just did this a few days ago. You pre-pay the $99 online for PhotoPass CD. When you check in for the photo shoot, you present the email (from pre-pay purchase). We were then given a laminated card to take to the gift shop where we paid the $25 sitting fee. We received both the sitting CD and card at the end of the shoot. I will upload that card along with my regular photopass card to get ALL of the photos on one cd.

Has anyone done the photoshoot for $25 that was also doing a PhotoPass Share CD? (Going in with other people to get a discounted PhotoPass CD)

Hmmm, I'm only guessing here, but I would think that only the person organizing the Photopass share would get the $25 photo shoot deal. Because the Photopass CD order would be in their name.

But again, I'm just guessing. :)

that's what I thought too, but she said that she was reading in other shares where they were doing that...so I was just curious if anyone actually had. From a Photographers standpoint, I don't think $125 is bad for the Photopass CD and a private session with all those on CD as well.

We did the photoshoot in September and I was envolved in a Photoshare. The person in charge of the share emailed me her confirmation and I printed it out. I had no problems, but it may depend on the photographer. Hope this helps!!!

Yes I did in October and my share person deleted the code off of it just to be on the safe side. They asked me about it at Poly and I just laughed it off and said that I would want to lose the paper and have someone else get a hold of my code and they said smart thinking....LOL!!

Ugh! I have to admit that I have been worried about this happening just because of the email saying it is for GF only. I hate having to argue when I'm on vacation. Sorry you had that experience-it really sucks all the joy out of things.

I feel bad that MomtoAlexnWilliam had such a bad experience with her session because mine - on the same morning just before hers - was fabulous. My session was at 9:30am at the Wilderness Lodge. We checked in at 9:25am and handed them our confirmation email. He stamped it, kept the copy and told us to go pay $25 for the session in the gift shop. We did and off we went.

I was surprised at the end of the session that we only got our photos on a Photopass card instead of the CD as I figured I would have to argue to get that. There was no mention of a CD however and I was fine with that since I didn't need/want one anyway as I wanted to add embellishments before getting my CD.

There was absolutely no confusion whatsoever regarding the $25 pricing. I'm not sure what happened after we left as our photographer told us he would be there until 10:00pm that evening taking pics.

My best advice to you is to call your resort and have them add a note to your record regarding your offer email. There was a note on our appointment and the guys at the PP desk were expecting the email when we arrived. I hope that helps!!!

I am hosting a share and both I and one of the participants had a photo session and used the email to get the discount. No one questioned her and the confirmation had my name on it.

We had a photo session at the GF on Dec 17. We had Evelyn as our photographer and she was wonderful. We had a total of about 80 pictures taken. We did prepurchase the CD, and we were able to use the $25 photoshoot price that was on our email receipt. There was no problem at all.

After the shoot, we were given a cd with all our photoshoot pictures on it, plus the photopass card for those photos. Now that I'm home, I am combining all the cards and will order my cd.

Our pictures came out wonderful! There is one of my kids that looks tons better than the photo of them taken at the 'professional photographer' in town, which cost us a small fortune!

Good to see some new faces! :thumbsup2

Burleygirl and lil red, you both have lovely families! Beautiful job on your photos! :goodvibes

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Richard happened across this thread? :rotfl2: :lmao:

Wow, I know that this particular part of the thread I am quoting is from July (page 45 I think?) but I was reading the thread and on the last page and accidentally clicked back and found this! While it would indeed be funny if Richard from Lakeland, FL himself were reading this it is a bit funny that I, Jamie, who am his daughter clicked into it! Haha. I'm glad you all like my dad's photographs and that they made your family happy!!! I'll be sure to pass along the appreciation! He truly does love his job. :)

I'm going to apologize in advance for asking a question that's probably already been asked. :flower3:

I am getting close to scheduling a photo session for the WL. We have an 8:45 ADR, and a 5:15 ADR. Both are at Whispering Canyon (this is our "break day" and as tempted as I was to go to Boma for breakfast, we decided we are not using transportation that day). So, considering sunlight/weather conditions, would it be better to schedule the session for shortly after breakfast, or shortly before dinner? I want to keep the middle of the day open for swimming, Sea Raycers & the like.

IMHO, Im thinking schedule for after breakfast so you dont have to worry about swimmer's hair or having to get dressed and getting to your appointment.

Questions for everyone- we have already done the Grand Floridian pictures (and like them a lot) but want to do something different next time- will be down in November so wanted to know the best place to go & suggestions on what to wear! Thanks so much
