Went to the store

Smogged the car.

Took the dogs to get there nails done.

Went to AAA to pay the dmv and then I find out they are now charging a 4 dollar service charge for dmv. Thats suppose to be part of the membership.

Raked the back yard.

Then the printer wont print. Now I cant mail my form for something.

I helped in DS's classroom. Came home and shoveled the driveway a bit and some other cleaning up.

I've volunteered in the schools in the past. I like to see what goes on in DS's classroom.

I didn't shovel too much. I'm mostly trying to form snow banks along the edge of the driveway. I can tell where the edge is using a shovel but not with the snow blower. This way I can use the walls of snow as a guide when I snow blow it with the tractor. And when the driveway is plowed and not the dirt and grass off the edge of the driveway, nobody drops wheels off and gets stuck.

But it is warm, so the snow is really heavy. I wish the sun would of poked through and warms the drive way a bit so it could melt off.

Start saving for a driveway heater. I am glad you want to know what goes on in your sons class. There are many parents today who dont.

How is your day?

Like you I had a very busy day. We started off with a new home health nurse. Then I picked up Darcy, she did some cleaning, floors and stuff. I went through bills, paid a lot of them, got rid of or filed lots of paper clutter. I took care of a big thing I've been putting off, sending our mechanic's widow the accounting of how much money he owed us. When he was diagnosed with cancer, I think the doctor must have given him about six weeks to live. He asked if he could borrow a large sum of money. We paid off his four remaining car payments and some other stuff so he could finish restoring HIS classic car.

He never told anyone what the Dr. estimated his life expectancy, but I suspect when he found out, he was afraid those car payments would outlast him. On his death bed, he told his wife to sell his cars and tools and make sure we were paid back every penny.

I mailed that with the other bills I can't pay online, took back a library book and got money from the bank, took Darcy home and just picked up prescriptions at the pharmacy.

If my driveway wasn't paved I would be more likely to consider installing a heater.

Hi! How are you doing? How long do you think it took Fran to recover from going to DL to play with the band?

I think she's recovered from the DL performance, but she still has a long way to go with the whole recovery process from the infection. We stayed home from band tonight, I was worried about getting her out, having a possible 2 hour commute and her staying up late at night.

She's still on the morphine and quite loopy. I hope that she stops with teh pain and can get off the morphine before we go to Vegas.

That wouldn't be too energy efficient. The teen would be warming themself with it.
