Every year I add to the hallmark ornaments. We'll get some full price to be sure we get it and some we'll wait to see if we can get them after on sale. We got Captain Jack once for $1...yup...$1...

Barbie, Disney, Star Wars are the main ones. But there's various assorted...star trek, snoopy, etc.

I've NEVER noticed actual notes (of any size) though??? hmmmm....
I've actually perused Myer, DJs, Target Christmas sections already this year.
I'll be on the hunt more now though

$1 is a bargain.

I'll take some pictures of some of the various musical decorations I have. It is rather eclectic; as opposed to being totally uniformed.

I haven't seen any notes on sale this year. There are instruments at Myers. I've been eyeing them and might actually get some of them to add to my tree before the year is out.

Actually both are with the club. I wouldn't be caught dead in that place out of doors with those crowds on NYE. We didn't stay overnight last year, just never thought of it. With no F&W this year we had a ton of points that we could just blow on stuff, so I decided why not. They serve a buffet supper which is always very lavish. I ruined my dress last year when I spilled a gob of molten Belgian chocolate down the front!

We left early last year becuase they had a VERY loud rock band playing and we were seated about 4 feet from them. I couldn't believe all the people just packed in there like sardines! Traffic was flowing in only one direction around the hub and people we sitting all over the ground just waiting for the fireworks.

We can see some of the fireworks from the balcony and I don't mind the restricted view when they are pouring all you want drinks!

I'm doing all right. How're you doing? I'm just tired of whining about my job to everyone, which is really one of the only things I have to talk about lately, which is also part of why I'm not talking much lately I'm tired of complaining about it, but I can't find anything else right now. Stupid economy. Bleh.

Was this VIP seating in front of the Castle, and the band for the 12 am fireworks?
