My Christmas Tree....still need to work on getting a picture of it twinkling!

I almost didn't get this one because of the gross musical error! But I'm glad I did.

Thanks Usnuz. Tink was acquired in 2009. I don't hold much hope of getting one like her again....but if by some chance Queenie finds her, we'll then have the dilemma of how to get her from Sydney to Melbourne.

Your tree looks great PIO! I have a bunch of those same musical ornaments. The little red piano, I have a white one exactly like it and it even has the same lame tune on the music! I also have a lot of the same "books" and the music notes with the pine cones and leaves.

My dilemma with decorating the tree is always "what theme do I go with?" In Fran's normal style we don't have just one set of ornaments. The last tree I put up was themed with Pooh & Friends. Previously I've done Mickey & Friends, Star Trek and before I met Fran it was always a musical tree. This year if I can get it together to put up a tree the theme will have to be plush ornaments. For Mac's sake!

i suppose I could put some of the musical stuff up. Most of it is not ceramic...but I'm pretty sure this would NOT be the year to break out the Christopher Radko ornaments!

Don't limit yourself to one theme. Put up multiple trees! I knew a lady with a large house who put up over 100 trees. They stayed up all year. It looked like a dusting nightmare to me.

Man! I have had enough of Fran on morphine. She is so foggy and confused and doesn't realize what is going on around her, yet she tries to fix everything! Verbally of course, not much she can do lying flat on her back with a cat in her lap.

No, I'm eyeing the spot where I will put my tree. There are two boxes I need to relocate and a massaging foot stool. I am also eyeing the spots where I will put those.

I also just noticed that the cats have knocked over two piles of papers. Perhaps I should go through them and file them or recycle.
