Breaking it down.....how low can you go?

First time direct buyer, minimum point purchase 50 points......

I want 60 points, will they let me buy 2 - 30 point contracts or does the main contract have to be at least 50?

Would having 2 separate contracts allow me to book 2 studios simultaneously?

My brain is turning to mush.

I can't speak about the smaller point contracts but I can say that you will be able to book 2 studios simultaneously as long as you have enough available points regardless of the number of contracts you own. We currently have 2 studios booked using only one contract.

Yes you would have to make the reservation one at a time- regardless of how many points you have.

I believe you could simply call in to MS and have them secure you two studios at the same time.

At certain times of the year for certain booking categories this could be risky. For example booking 11 months out at an Epcot resort during food and wine, you would likely get your first studio, but may find none available when going to make your second reservation.

MS books one at a time just like we do.

An initial Master Contract must be 50 or 100 points, depending on the resort. They would allow you to buy 30 as an add-on, but not as a Master Contract.

Many years ago, the minimum buy-in was 160 points. They let me do 100 points at one resort and 60 points at another resort. At first my guide tried to talk me into doing something else (I assume they get bigger commissions for selling the newer resorts) but I stuck to my guns. He said he would have to check. I said fine, check and get back to me. He got back to me and said they would allow it. I don't know if the policy has changed, but if breaking up the minimum number of points is what you really want, it doesn't hurt to ask for it.
