How does this work? How early can you book, lets say, Akershus?

Also where do you wait for the park to open? do you go back out to the end of the line? Or are you never done eating before opening?

I've only done it once or twice, but usually the earliest reservations can be made is one hour (okay, probably 55 minutes) prior to park opening. I think it's very hard to finish a table service meal in less than an hour, but what will probably happen is that there will be CMs around who have areas roped off. I don't think you'll have to leave the park and go back out, you just won't be able to access any attractions until Rope Drop.

Thats about what I figured. I wouldn't book one if they made us go back out, which was mostly what I wanted to know.
With just me and my husband we don't need an hour to eat a buffet.
We're hoping this is a good way to get some great pictures.

I did CP last August - first sitting is at 8:05 - if you get done early then you just have to wait for things to open
I got photopass pictures done while waiting - they were great without anyone in them (guy was waiting for guest to get done eating for this)

...in August. They don't make you go back out of the park when you are done. At Epcot, if you are using the main entrance, there is a turnstyle all the way over to the left that is marked "Breakfast Reservations" or something to that effect. We were actually able to enter the park at 7:50 at Epcot for an 8:05 Reservation. All of the World Showcase was roped off, but for the portion you needed open to get to Norway. I was bummed about this too as I was hoping for some great pictures of the world showcase. As far as Future World goes, you won't be able to get any farther than you normally could at rope drop when they do the opening ceremony.

We also did Crystal Palace and CRT at 8:05 as well, and the Magic Kingdom did have photopass photographers out and we were able to get a perfectly timed picture of us in front of the castle with no one in the background. :thumbsup2

We did CRT once before park opening. It was awesome to have a picture of our family in front of the castle with no one else in it. Magical to walk down an almost empty main street. They don't make you leave and there is a turnstyle open to let people with ADR's through.
