We are heading to WDW from NJ. My inlaws live in south florida and our driving up to meet us for a few days. They don't plan on doing parks with us but do want to join us for meals. We have ADR for Breakfastsaurus at 8:00am one day~ can they join us for the meal without buying theme park tickets? Or do you need a ticket even to eat at the restaurant. Not sure~ we are first timers. Thanks.

Sorry, they need a ticket to eat there. It is well within the park. Another option....would be breakfast together at the AK Rainforest Cafe. You can enter without being in the park, it is at the front entrance. But if your heart is set on the character meal, they will need a ticket. AK is a great grandparent park, sure they don't want to go with you. My DM/DSD did that when meeting the grandkids at Disney.

My inlaws are both in their mid 70's and not great with alot of walking. They may or may not do AK with us but I thought maybe we could all eat together. I'll keep the Rainforest in mind. Thanks.

i know you didn't ask this, but breakfastosaurus was the WORST breakfast we have ever has in WDW! and i've been to the world literally over 100 times and we are big on eating at the various restaurants! it was very expensive, the food was cold, the lines were long and the characters barely made it to us after waiting 2 hours!
