Has anyone done this character breakfast?

We are going at 8am Monday the 29th and was wondering what reviews you can give me.

Also how long does it take to get there from the entrance ? My Dh thinks I have to have him at the gate at 7am. There will be no way I can get him and my DS up that early.

My DS really wants to see Donald, and this seems to be the only guaranteed spot.

My DW and myself did the character breakfast last year in April. I will have to say it was my favorite character breakfast so far. We liked the breakfast so much that we have already booked the meal again for our next trip in September.

It does not take long to get to the restraurant from the front entrance. We had ADR for 9:15 that morning and arrived at the park at 9:00. We even stopped to watch the opening parade at the front of the park and still had time to spare.

Yup, 10 to 15 minutes from the gate is plenty of time. We enjoyed the breakfast! When we went, they had made to order omlets & a buffet. The food was great and the character interaction was awesome! Have a great time!!

I love this one, but we are gonna skip it for this trip. You can see Donald at Chef mickeys too

If you get there before opening they walk you back. Unless you are very slow, ten minutes is fine.

It took us about 15-20 minutes to go from the bus stop to the restaurant a couple of weeks ago when we were there. That includes waiting in line to get into the park as well. The line was fairly long and they were checking ADR's on a list to let people in.

Highly recommend this one. We just did this a few weeks ago. We got to the gate about 7:30 and they made us sit at the gate until about 7:50! We parked and had to give our resv. # to get in the gate. It wasn't a long walk at all. It is in the dino area. Great character interaction and our waiter was a lot of fun. Pranks and good laughs !! You will enjoy it for sure. Then I ran to EE and was 3rd in line for the day!!

OMG, We will be there at 8 on the 29th too!! That is to funny. Where are you staying we are at the Pop. We will have to find each other. It's DS's 4 and 6 first Disney trup and it will be there first character meal. Nancy

This is a big family favorite for us, lots of choices, and as my all male boys say lots of meat related choices

It is in the later opening part of the park, so ressies are the only way they will let you in, as none of the attractions in the Dinoland part open for EMH. They will ask you for your reservation number and time when you enter, so don't get over anxious!
