Breakfast?

Staying at the AKL and would like to get to the parks asap in the morning my family and I are not big breakfast eaters but would like something light to keep us going to about 11.ooam. Any suggestions?

Dh and I generally split the breakfast platter and a side of biscuits and gravy. Serving hours are limited and can be kind of odd, so check the times as soon as you get to the park. Last fall, breakfast started at 9:30. This May, it ended by 10:00 -- not sure what time it started.

I know you are not much of a breakfast person, however I would strongly suggest you try Boma at AKL at least once.

If you are wanting quick breakfast to go to the parks which I would also suggest then go to Maras it is right in AKL and will be quick, but I would try Bomas I hear it has a great breakfast buffett, I had ressies back in 03 but didnt make them...Wish I had..

How about picking up some fruit or muffins at Mara? Then you can take it with you or eat it while you are waiting for the bus to wherever you are going that day?

I also second the idea of just picking something up from Mara and taking it with you while you wait for the bus.

If we're riding the bus in the morning, we grab a muffin/danish, an apple/banana, milk and juice for the kids and then go wait at the bus stop. If we're not ready by the time we board the bus, we just bring it along and eat in the bus. The bus drivers usually just tell us not to make a mess and don't litter, which since it's all hand-held food, is easy enough to do.
