breakfast

went to the buffet most of the time, only had sit down breakfast on the last morning.

I like the buffet, lots of choices, take as little time or as long as you wish.

I preferred the sit down. We have a 22 mo old so it was easier being served than dragging her around the buffet. Treat yourself.
Let them pull out your chair, drop your napkin in your lap, pour you hot coffee....you get the point, right?

We like the buffet for breakfast and lunch. We just don't want to spend a lot of time eating. The few times we did "sit down" the waiter waited for our table to be full before putting in our orders. Dinner takes long enough most days.

I intend to have most of my breakfasts in bed or on my veranda!

Of note, the room service breakfast is continental only in all rooms other than concierge or if you're on a special item like the romantic escape whic includes 1 morning of full breakfast.

We alternated between sit down and buffet, we liked both for different reasons.

Fortunately. we have concierge and REAS- which is why I intend to pamper myself.:teeth:

Melissa,

A Cat 3,!!! and I can see it now, your 4 year old jumping up and down on your bed while your trying to eat your breakfast and drink your coffee and juice.

Good luck and have a blast. See you in 5 days.

Except the last day we did the buffet for breakfast.
Except for the day we were in St. Martin, we did the buffet for lunch too, we had lunch in the dining room in St. Martin since we did a morning tour, and afternoon shopping.
They only had one dining room open for lunch, and I don't think there were more than 30 people there. We got served the minute we sat down and ordered.

We did the sitdown breakfast one day, because I wanted breakfast and DH wanted lunch, but the rest of the time we went to the buffet.

On previous cruise we had our character breakfast and one sit down breakfast. The rest of the time we had a small room service breakfast on our verandah. We don't usually eat big breakfasts at home, so the room service breakfast was perfect. Plus, it's an easy way to cut a few calories out of the day. ;)

Will follow the same plan with the inclusion of the REAS breakfast.

We have only sailed once and that was on the 4 day Wonder. We wanted to try each place for breakfast.

The first morning (Nassau) we had breakfast at Triton's. It was nice and we could see as we docked.

The next morning (Freeport) we had breakfast at Parrott Cay. That was also nice and again we could see as we docked.

The following morning (CC) we were anxious to debark so we had breakfast at the buffett.

And the last morning, back to Tritons.

We enjoyed each breakfast.

My suggestion would be to try them all. :p

Love the made to order omletts up at Topsiders. It does take a while but it's worth it:tongue:

Sitdown breakfast actually seemed shorter to us than buffet breakfast. You don't have to get up and wait in line, the pastries come by on a tray, and all the food comes right from the kitchen. I know I'm not much of a fan of buffet eggs.

To avoid having to wait for your table to fill up, you can always ask to sit alone. They like to have you sit with others if you are only a couple, but they are happy to oblige. I especially liked the cinnamon-sugar french toast at Triton's.

I agree. I love having my morning coffee on the verandah. It's wonderful!

Sit down breakfast was easier with small children. And the food was better, but it lacked variety.

Parrot Cay for breakfast was better than Topsiders/BBB for breakfast, especially with young kids. Someone brought you coffee, the buffet is more accessible. You can walk in and seat your kids and then get stuff from the buffet in a few easy trips (Topsiders forces a line).

Topsiders (BBB) however, does have Mickey waffles and is open (IIRC) earlier and longer than your other options.
