What is your favorite breakfast place to eat out of the parks besides Kona Cafe? Looking for somewhere to eat on our off shopping day. Just my mom and I, no kids.

1) We like Trails End buffet (Fort Wilderness).
2) Next to the buffet at The Wave (Contemporary) probably the best dollar value on-property.
3) Plus, being mainly campers, the guests are really friendly!

The Wave has a great buffet, lots of fresh, sustainable items. You can also order from menu if you choose. Another good one, Trails End. Buffet again, but very tasty. 2 more, Boma unique buffet for sure. Lastly, Olivias is a good one too.

Captain's Grille (Yacht Club), Fresh Mediterranean Market (Dolphin), Boma (AKL).

We love the Wave too. I'm not a big buffet fan, but their buffet is pretty small which translates to fresh and well done food. Loved their key lime eggs benedict!

Are you going on a Sunday?
Cali Grille has an awesome "adult" type buffet, very elegant, nice for mother/daughter time...
Raglan Road has a fabulous Sunday brunch as well with entertainment!
Everyday of the week is good at the following:
The Wave as previously mentioned is superb.
Grand Floridian Cafe is lovely and serves an excellent breakfast.
Captain's Grill at Yacht Club is very very good!
So many choices, so little time!

The Wave! Take the early ADR bus to MK and walk to the Contemporary. Buffet and menu, quiet, not busy, good food. I'm going back next trip. Sweet potato pancakes with honey pecan butter. :thumbsup2

I vote Wave or Captains Grille .... and since you are talking transportation ... I would do Wave.

Bus to MK, walk to Contemporary to Wave.
Assuming you are shopping at Disney Springs (since not driving) just take bus from Contemporary to DS.

Another vote for Boma and Olivia's. We eat at least 2x at both for breakfast. We also like Grand Floridian Cafe.

1. Cab/Uber/Lyft

2. Take a bus to Hollywood Studios, then boat or walk from there to Yacht club.

I looked at a map and I assume you mean go to Epcot and take a boat to Yacht Club. Is there a boat enterance from outside the park? Or do you have to enter Epcot? We are not going to a park this day. Thanks for your help!

No they do NOT mean take a bus to Epcot. They mean exactly what they said.
Take a bus to Hollywood Studios. Get off the bus and go to the boat dock and take the Friendship Launch to the YC or walk along the pathway to the YC. This way you do not have to enter any park. Both transportation options are outside the gates of DHS.
If you go to Epcot you have to use a ticket to enter Epcot and walk all the way through Future World to the International Gateway to get the boat to the YC. Walking is faster here.

Got it now! Just saw the waterway that connects Hollywood Studios too.
