I'd probably also go with Fiddler, Fifer, and Practical Pig Cafe. It's the Starbucks location, so they serve all the typical Starbucks breakfast items and drinks.
I have found the morning line at Fidler Fifer/Starbucks cafe to be really long. I don't have patience to waste precious DCA morning time waiting in line for the same coffee and muffin I can get any day in my regular life at Starbucks. We tried Flo's and it was OK. I actually found the french toast to be too sweet and hard to enjoy after a few bites. So really I don't typically plan to eat breakfast inside DCA. So alternatives close to DCA, I would do Whitewater Snacks in the GCH for a quicker breakfast or for a full sit down no worries about the time breakfast I would Storytellers.
I like Whitewater Snacks. It's typically pretty calm in there, and there's a big variety to choose from -- from the cooked food to the pre-packaged food in the refrigerators.
Thanks for everyones input! Nothing really looked appetizing at Flo's,Whitewater seemed more like a "grab & go" type place and Storytellers was loud and packed so we just ended up walking back over to DL and eating at Riverbelle Terrace, which we always like. Ya....we were being pretty picky

Whitewater has tables to sit at and they bring your food to you. They have an amazing breakfast burrito amongst other things. We absolutely love that place and it is a for sure visit every time. We can't go without getting our nachos from whitewater!
