Besides making reservations for breakfast every single day or eating breakfast at our hotel everyday, can someone give me some options as to where my family and I can eat breakfast? We are staying at ASMo for about ten days and don't want to eat at the same place everyday. Any suggestions would be great! :)

Ps: We are a family of picky eaters, nothing fancy is necessary but I don't mind hearing anyone mention them. :)

Also, if we are staying at ASMo, is it an option to eat at the other resort hotels?

Indeed you can eat at any food location throughout Disney World! My family takes advantage of that frequently.

Now if you're looking for other places to get breakfast, as far as Table Service, my family has always enjoyed Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge...warning though, the servers treat you like a country family more than a customer, but it's fun to me! Also Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is a good Table Service for breakfast. Their selection is a bit more diverse for breakfast, but I'm sure you'll find something you enjoy.

Quick Service options would probably Roaring Fork at Wilderness Lodge and Pop Century's food court. The latter has a lot of selection, but I'm not sure how much it differs from the food court at ASMo.

eat at any other resort. We stayed at AsMo once and I think the food court was better than most other CS options at resorts we have stayed at.

Disney doesn't offer a lot of CS options in the parks. Main Street Bakery and Starring Rolls have some breakfast foods. Sunshine Seasons in Epcot has breakfast.

As the PP said, anyone can eat at any of the WDW resorts, you don't even have to stay on property. Are you going to have your own car? Are you early risers or late risers? If you are early risers and don't have a car getting to some resorts can be a bit of a pain unless you want to pay for a taxi. The monorail resorts (CR, GF, Poly) are easy to get to. But after that your travel time from ASMo to any of the other resorts will start to add up (usually takes about 60-90 minutes to get from resort to resort). It really isn't worth it to go to another resorts food court for breakfast, IMO, since it will offer basically the same thing as the All-Stars offer.

Kona at the Poly, as the PP mentioned, gets pretty good reviews. Boma at the AKL is a very good breakfast buffet. Are you interested in character breakfasts? There are quite a few that are pretty good. Donald's Breakfast Safari at Tusker House in AK is one of our favorites. I really like the breakfast at 1900 PF at the GF, while my girlfriend's favorite is Chef Mickey's. Be warned, however, that breakfast (although the least expensive meal of the day) can still cost quite a bit, which is why we usually only do maybe 2 or 3 TS breakfasts. :thumbsup2

if you feel like taking a ride over to the boardwalk, i like their bakery in the morning..grab coffee and something small, and then eat outside at a table outside on the boardwalk along the water..its a nice view

Your enemy at WDW is the bright, hot sun. It heats up early like your famous deserts. WDW property was about the size of San Francisco, or twice the size of Manhattan (I think it is a little smaller now). It takes valuable time to get from place to place. My best recommendation to you is to eat quick home-type stuff, like cereal, instant oatmeal, etc. and don't spend time on breakfast dining. Get to the parks as early as possible. Then have larger meals for lunch in some nice, shady, air-conditioned place. After that, take a pool break at your resort 'til late afternoon. Then back to the parks and a nice dinner somewhere when the sun is declining. The idea is to do your walking around & rides early or late in the day, relax when the sun is hottest. :)

Favorite CS breakfasts for us are
Starring Rolls at DHs
Pizzafari at AK
Kusafari at AK
WPE at DTD
Capn' Cooks at the Poly

Buffets
1900 Park Faire
Tusker House
Boma

Most of us wake up late but for this trip we will all be early risers without a car. The only form of transportation is what ever Disney provides. And I highly doubt any of us will want to pay for a taxi. So far we have a breakfast set up for Chef Mickey's, one at ASMu foodcourt (where we will be staying), possibly Rainforest Cafe, GF cafe, and that's it. :/ My family is big on eating breakfast and although I've tried convincing them of just grab n' go they will not budge.

Breakfast is usually where we save $$$. I won't pay that money for Mickey pancakes! We normally go for 9-10 days. We go to the store and each buy our favorite breakfast bars and pack them in our luggage. We eat them on the way to the bus every morning! The dinners are sooo much better then the breakfasts and I feel better spending money on dinner then breakfast. I feel as if I get my money's worth.

You have several options but what we really liked-

1. Character meals at 8 AM in park before park opened :thumbsup2 (if you want chacter meals or TS breakfasts)

2. Get the mugs and get coffee/tea/hot cocoa (kids) to drink with either
snacks from the resort, snacks from parks the night before or cereal or snacks you bring from home.

3. Snacks in park (Starring Rolls, Mainstreet Bakery)

Special items of interest for some at other resorts-

POFQ- Beinets
Poly- Tonga toast
BW- Bakery

Other then those I think that most resorts have similiar qs items available for breakfast so it may not be worth the trips.

Many people rave about Kouzzina for BK.

Honestly other then character meals we found eating snacks in the room was the most relaxing, great use of snacks and inexpensive.

Great, so far I think we are just going to stay at our hotel and not make such a big fuss over what we will eat. I do have a couple of breakfast places that I would like to try and I think everyone in my family will just be too excited to see the parks they won't even think about eating.

Not only do you save money, you save time! I very rarely eat breakfast outside my room at WDW. I would rather eat in the room, hit the park and do a few things, and then have an early lunch while everyone else is still full from breakfast. Or, if the restaurant is serving late enough, I might have a late breakfast as a substitute for lunch (like I have a cheaper late lunch as a substitute for dinner many times).

Good ideas. I thought we were being cheap by packing groceries to eat in the room. We figured we enjoy dinner or lunch at the parks. We arent to big on breakfast anyways.

I am amazed I have not heard anyone mention Crystal Palace in the MK. It is a great buffet with Pooh and the gang. We have done both breakfast and dinner there and yhave not been dissapointed yet. If you can get an early morning appointment then you can do the park right afterwards. You are right there. Or if you prefer do a few rides and have your meal a little later. There is also the castle but those ressies are next to impossible to get and it is EXPENSIVE. For resorts well they all have a breakfast. I like Olivias at OKW. Most of the time you don't even need an ADR. The home fries there are great and the tropical bread they serve while waiting for the rest of your food is to die for. Not a big place and a little out of the way. Maybe thats why there is hardly ever a wait.
