Dear all,

I will be taking my family to the All Star Movies resort next easter and I am a little worried about the food on offer for breakfast, we have to young kids and we are usually a toast or cereal family, I understand the resort has a food court but was just wondering how anyone else fared at this resort with 2 young (7 & 5) kids and a vegetarian wife !!.:goodvibes

Many thanks

Steve

They have a large selection of cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, granola bars, all types of pastries, danish, muffins, breads, bagels, french toast, waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits...

Wow, your going to WDW for Easter? Your a brave soul!:goodvibes

I've been looking at the restaurant menus, and it looks like the food court at the All-Star Movies resort has a large selection of various breakfast foods. I'm sure you'll have no problem finding what you are looking for! :wizard:

:welcome: to The DisBoards, Steve!
All Star Movies has a great variety of breakfast items! In addition to the "posted" menu (http://www.allears.net/menu/men_moviesb.htm) they have fruit cups, little boxes of cereal and even slices of bread you can buy and toast yourself-with PB & jellies at the condiment station. You will be sure to find something for everyone! Enjoy! :upsidedow

Many thanks, I have read there is no seating at the food court, is this true,

cheers

Steve

The All Star resorts have big tables and chairs ....is that what you mean..? If you mean that it is not a restaurant that you need reservations and sittings....We have taken the fussiest of people to Disney.....young kids and vegetarians and old people and weight watcher people.....the food court has something for everyone.....I love their breakfasts there. The kids will love it....honest.

Welcome to the Dis and we have alot of boards for everyone......resorts, theme parks, familys and even the budget boards.......hope you enjoy it here

Thanks for that Pumba, It has put the only worry of staying at a resort hotel behind me,

Thanks again

Steve

I take it is quite busy at easter time ?,

That would be a resounding YES!

Although you will get some of the "hearty souls" on these boards, that will say, "Oh, it's not so bad" But unless you are one of those souls, you will not like the crowds. Even getting there early, using fast pass, etc., etc., You also have to take into consideration that the "world' has been getting busier and busier in recent times.

Another option if you're trying to avoid the food court is to pack your own cereal and just buy some milk and keep it on ice or rent a fridge. We usually do this, as we're not a big hearty breakfast eater family. Otherwise, there really is something for everyone.
