Breakfast with Minnie Question

We have ressies for 9 a.m. on May 2nd at 9 a.m. at the Plaza Inn for breakfast with Minnie, but the park doesn't open until 9 a.m. - how do you make it there in time then? Do they let you in a bit early or do you just get there whenever you can make it through the lines?

When you get to the main gate, there will be a CM there for Priority Seating reservations. They will have your name on a list and allow you into the park for your breakfast.

it might be a seasonal thing, but in my experience, they generally let everyone up main street about half an hour prior to park opening for rope drop. everything on main street is open and the plaza inn is right there at rope drop.

i've seen the characters come out of the plaza inn area to show off for the crowd, including hook who just taunted everyone

That all depends on if it's an early entry morning. If it's an early entry, only those eligible guests will be allowed in early. Otherwise, yes, you are allowed on to Main Street 30 minutes prior to opening.

I LOVE the breakfast there. We always go there for breakfast every time we go to Disneyland.

We ALWAYS get to the gates before they open, and we head straight to the breakfast, it is rarely that busy first thing in the morning, people are busy trying to get straight to the rides. So you really dont even need reservations for that early in the morning.

As for the experience there, its pretty cool, numberous characters come to your table. The Fiary Godmother is pretty funny, she always acts like a worn out tired old lady. Shell come and sit down at your table and ask where your from and just hang out for a bit.
