I have reservations for the first 'real' day of our vacation at Cinderella's Royal Table at 8:10am. Hubby is questioning whether or not it will be worth the two TS credits each. I also understand that it's all you care to eat. My DH is an ex-football player (defensive lineman...not professional) and he still eats a lot...will he leave feeling hungry, or feel out of place getting seconds (or maybe even thirds depending on how hungry he is and how big the portion sizes are. My second question is three-parted:
Do you think it's worth it?
Why?
Where would you eat breakfast instead or where is your runner up place to eat?

I've seen people make MANY trips through the buffet line, so I dont think it will be a big deal to anyone.

CRT is nice...its pretty cool to be inside the castle, but is it worth 2 TS credits...in my opinion, not so much. I would rather go to Akershus at Epcot for breakfast. You still get a photo complimentary and its only 1 TS credit. Still lots of princesses, and still a buffet of sorts.

With that said, I think everyone should experience CRT once, just so you can say you have done it :)

Your husband sounds like my husband! He is 6'4 with a big appetite (also former defensive lineman). My husband did not like CRT when we ate there for breakfast. The portions are small for someone with a larger appetite and he did ask for seconds but our server seemed put out by having to bring more. Not sure if this is the norm regarding the "all you can eat" but we were being totally rushed through the meal also. He will not go back because this one breakfast experience was not satisfying to him for the price we paid.

If it has to be a Magic Kingdom restaurant maybe go to Crystal Palace. There at least it's a full buffet so he will not leave hungry. Then, you also have another credit to use somewhere else.

We did bkfst at CRT last year. Our adr was for 10:20am. Don't know if that made any difference but we were not rushed at all. Service was great & so was princess interaction. Our party consisted of me, my adult dd, her 15yr old son & 8yr old daughter, along with my other 9yr old grandson. The first item brought out was the fruit bowls. There was two of them with a good bit of fruit in them except for strawberries, lol. There was only 1 strawberry in each bowl so dd asked for more strawberries cause the kiddos were upset cause they didn't each get one...:lmao: So the server brought out 3 more fruit bowls....DD ordered the stuffed french toast & still raves about it. The rest of us ordered the traditional bkfst. They brought out a platter of pastries & croissants. Well you know it there wasn't enough cinnamon rolls for each of the kids.....(nevermind that there was plenty of other pastries on the platter). So one of the kids asked for a cinnamon roll & dd kinda asked if she could have another croissant. They brought out another platter of pastries & croissants.....:). Then youngest grandson wanted more bacon & I thought oh, great, they'll bring out a whole pig...:lmao: Not a whole one but a heaping plate of bacon. They even boxed up the leftover croissants & pastries for us to take with us when we left. (No we didn't ask). What I'm getting at is for us it was well worth it, plenty of food for all, and not rushed at all. I don't know if it was because we had a late adr or not tho. We are doing bkfst there again in a couple more weeks. Will let y'all know if we have as good an experience again. :thumbsup2

Just to clarify, CRT is not a buffet. It is served to your table pre-plated but is all you care to eat.

It is worth it for character interaction and the atmosphere of being in the castle.

But, the breakfast food is not worth 2 credits, IMO. You can ask for seconds or even thirds and no one will bat an eye so your DH shouldn't leave hungry.

I much prefer the breakfast at Akershus.
