Okay, I think I have the figured out, but thought I'd pass it by the experts to be sure! We leave Wednesday for a few days in a cabin at FW. Friday morning DD and I have breakfast ADRs at Ohanas at 8 am, then we will spend the day at MK. My plan is to take the boat from FW to CR, then take the resort monorail to the Poly. Will the boat from FW and the resort monorail be running early enough to do this? We will have a rental car, but my friend and her daughter are traveling with us and will be spending that day at Epcot, so i would like to leave the car for her. As an alternative, I guess I could have her drop us at the Poly. before they go to Epcot, but I think that would put them at Epcot too early.

Any opinions?

I know that the monorail service begins at 7am daily. Not sure about the boats from FW.

There are early buses that take people to the various Character Breakfasts around WDW. You can take one directly to the Polynesian or the Contemporary if you want to monorail over to the Poly from there.

You will be fine! The boat to the CR starts at 6:45 and the monorail starts around 7am so you should have no problems. Get to you FW bus stop around 7 and you will probably be a little early, but it is always best to figure 1 hour of transportation time resort to resort.

Thanks for the replies. Would taking a Character Breakfast bus be quicker than taking the boat and then the monorail? And where would I catch the character breakfast bus at FW? This is our first time staying at FW, so I'm a little fuzzy on the transportation.

I am not familiar with how the bus service works at FW. I believe from what I have read is that they have an internal bus system that takes guests to the main bus stops. From the main stops you board your buses to the various parks. I would imagine this would work the same way with the Character Breakfast buses, but I am not sure.

Someone will have the answer for you.
