If you have young children....
The Hollywood and Vine breakfast is good. It's the lunch and dinner food that is NOT good. And the character interaction is very nice -- DS loved dancing with Oso and Handy Manny to Playhouse Disney Musice. A review and video of the dancing is part of my 12/2010 review (link below). If HS opens at 9am, you can book an 8am breakfast and get some photos in the park (hat in background) without crowds of people also in the photo.
Another character option is Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. You get Minnie, Goofy, and Donald in beach attire... And this is probably the best breakfast buffet I've ever been too. Everything was absolutely delicious! Pictures of that in my review too. Then you can take the boat right from there to Hollywood Studios. Cape May Cafe opens at 7:30am... so if you're an early bird, you could be done by 8:30am and still get to HS close to 9am.
Ohana breakfast on your plan? I don't like the Ohana dinner at all but we had great fun with Lilo, Stitch, Pluto and Mickey. I think it opens early too at 7:30am.
