Last time we went to AK, we were not allowed through the turnstiles prior to opening. My understanding is you are now allowed through the turnstiles 30 minutes or so before official park opening, but held near the tree of life until opening. This is our first year on the DDP and ideally we would get a breakfast snack in the park while we're waiting. What's a good spot to do so? Any suggestions? I hope to fast pass Flight of Passage in the morning, and rope drop Navi first.

I don't think anything INSIDE of AK is open prior to park opening, but there is a Joffrey's kiosk just outside where you could get coffee and pastries.

You can eat breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe if you choose to do so before the park opens but it's not quick service. Other than a TS ressie, there's really nothing other than the Joffrey's kiosk until you officially get inside the park.

Thanks for the info! I guess we'll grab breakfast snacks/ pastries at the resort before heading to AK in the a.m. I appreciate the help! :)

We ate our breakfast in S'atuli after we rode FoP and Na'vi River Journey. The french toast was YUMMY! We were disappointed that the cheesecake wasn't available in the am.

BTW, if your kids like candy, my kids went bananas over the bioluminiscent jellybeans in the Windtraders gift shop. I'm no candy eater - but I admit they were good. We spent soooo many snack credits on those LOL! Also, those Joffrey's pastries are pretty giant so very worth it on the DDP.
