Hey all!!

I am in the throws of planning my August/September trip! I am trying to find some good places to eat breakfast...table service would be good. We (DBF:love: and I) are staying at Coronado Springs for the first time! I have a reservation at the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom, was interested in maybe a breakfast in Animal Kingdon or Hollywood studios. I am also open t doing a resort breakfast too.

Looking forward to your suggestions!! Thanks guys :cloud9:

I will also be at Coronado Springs the last week of August. Aug.26-Sept.1. Cant wait! our first time there!

Anyway, good breakfast places are:

Kona - YUMMY! Tonga Toast, macadamia/pineapple pancakes, pressed coffee pot, lilikoi juice, all AAAAMAZING!

Want another character breakfast just for kicks?
Tusker at AK has an amazing breakfast. So does 1900 PF. Good choice on booking CPalace btw.

I heard Boma breakfast is quite good. Never been thou. Wonder how it differs from Tusker.

Never tried Kouzzina or GF Cafe, but i hear those are also quite good.

Your out of luck with choices at HS. That park in general doesnt have good bf options.

Thanks so much! I totally forgot about Kona! We will be at Coronado at the same time, perhaps we will see you there !! I am so excited for this vacation. We have the Deluxe Dining Plan this time and have only stayed at Pop Century for our vacations so far...so I am looking forward to a new experience!! Have anything else exciting planned for your trip or any other suggestions??

We had an excellent breakfast at the wave at the contemporary. They have a buffet or a la carte choices. The buffet was delicious and it was a quick meal with excellent service! It's a nice hidden gem! We're going 2x during our upcoming July trip!

Pop is our fave resort!!! we usually stay there, but this trip we wanna change it up a bit. With the free dining promotion, we only had to pay $300 extra to stay at CSR. Im so excited!!..... yes def, if you recognize me, say hello! Hope to bump into you at CSR. :)

Delux DP is a lot of fun. I'd book a signature meal every night for dinner. I think thats the best way to do a delux DP if you dont want 3 restaurants per day. this way you have 1 TS for bfast, and a 2 credit siggy for dinner. Plus siggys have better food anyway. Citrico's, Cali Grill, Bistro/Paris, Narccoossee's, Yachtsman, Flying Fish are all great options.

We're doing the reg DP, 1 TS per day. So it wont be as exciting as your dining experience. :) But im trying a bunch of new places, so that'll be fun. Like Citrico's, OHana dinner (been at bfast only), Tusker lunch (been at bfast only). etc.

Also, all these years going to Disney ive never seen Fantasmic! :scared1: Shocking i know! reason being, we hate waiting in the long line for an hour. Lol. I toyed with the idea of trying the fantasmic pkg, but i dont like the restaurant options. So i'll have to make a point of doing fantasmic this trip, i'll have to suck it up, stop being a baby and wait in that long line.

We actually had a nice breakfast at Hollywood & Vine at DHS. I put the food and service we had that morning on par with Crystal Palace. Where it's lacking is characters that are well known by all. It's pretty much the only meal I'd do at H&V.

We did not have a good Tusker experience and are in no hurry to return, but I want to try Kona SOOOOOOOO badly. I'm still debating about throwing it in as a late breakfast on the MK day we're trying for BBB at 8am.

Kona & Boma are must-do's for us every trip!

Olivia's for us. Great menu and service.

Enjoy!

:)

We love Cape May Cafe at the BC. It is a buffet with with a big variety, good food, and great character interaction!

Kona Cafe is our favorite breakfast spot, their macadammia pancakes are to die for!!! :cloud9:
Boma's breakfast buffet is also very good. We tried Hollywood and Vine's breakfast and although the food was good we felt out of place with the characters. We have no problem with character meals, actually I enjoy them even though we don't have children, but I had no idea who the characters were at H&V and I felt awkward. This October we're trying Crystal Palace and CRT and really looking forward to it!! Enjoy your trip! :goodvibes

Thanks guys! I have breakfast reservations at Kona Cafe, Kouzzina, Crystal Palace, and Tusker House!! WOOHOO! :thumbsup2

I like Rainforest Cafe for breakfast. Better food and less kids running around than Tusker House.

Kona is definitely worth trying, if you like coffee you should love theirs. I'll actually jump on the monorail just to stop and get coffee there (hotel coffee is gross!!) On our last trip in March we went to Kona twice, the service was great...I think my only complaint is that it's loud because it's open to the lobby and everything in their central building but I think it's just part of the experience.

Can I ask what your bad Tusker experience was? I've been there twice and once was really busy and kind of sucked...this last trip my DFi (DBF at the time) and I went around 4pm because we were doing the HDD later and it was so peaceful...we were the only ones there for about 20 minutes. This time we're doing breakfast at 8:15 before the park opens and then dinner at 5 when the park closes...hopefully we'll have that nice experience again for our Disneymoon.
