Anniversary trip coming up soon, so our ADR window is approaching. We're child-free adults who aren't interested in a character meal... but DH is a big breakfast fan. I know there are grab and go options on property, but a sit down options would be nice. Any recommendations close by?

This place looks perfect, and I love that it's so close by. Thanks for the recommendation!

Does anyone know if this place stays busy enough to need reservations? Or is walk-in ok?

We mobile ordered and picked it up around 7:30A. When I walked in all tables were filled and the restaurant itself appeared more on the smaller, cozy side. I do not know if reservations are taken, but definitely keep the carry out option in mind.

La Hiki at the Four Seasons next door to Aulani. Its a quick walk through the lagoon path.
They have a nice view of the lagoons if you choose to sit outside. On Sundays, they have their brunch buffet which is wonderful.

It gets quite busy, but you can join the waitlist online.

In that same little plaza across from Aulani is Island Vintage Coffee. It's not a sit down place but there are tables to sit and enjoy your food both inside and outside. If you're into açaí bowls, this place has the best ones I've ever had!

I had Island

Walk in only but I think you can put your name on the list on line.
Yep, they use Yelp to keep track of their list. If you go in person, there's a tablet on a stand where you can put your name in, but you're definitely going to end up waiting. I used my phone to put my family's name in before leaving the hotel room and each day we went we were part of the first wave of people seated. You're given your choice of sitting inside or outside.

Outside there are roosters in the area that will walk by the table and there's frequent rooster crowing in the morning. If birds freak you out or the sound of "****-a-doodle-doo!" will drive you crazy, I highly recommend seating indoors :)

Yes, they do get busy. There are 3 very large resorts within walking distance and they are the only breakfast place, outside if the resorts near by. I would definitely make reservations. If you have a car, Koa pancake house in Kapolei is good too.

I thought that the breakfast at Longhi's at the Marriot was pretty good. It is just down the lagoon pathway from Aulani. It's a sit-down restaurant and you can make reservations online. They had a good selection of standard breakfast items like pancakes and eggs Benedict.
