Breakfast parking

Planning the Surf's Up breakfast on the last morning of our stay next month, and staying off-site. Do they still validate parking for the breakfast? Would this be self-parking, valet or either? If self-parking, what's the best option for Surf's Up? Would the validation include enough time for a little shopping in Downtown Disney? Thanks!

Downtown Disney parking is free for two hours. As for validation, I know if you go to the movies, you can get an extra few hours free, I believe. As for the restaurants, I'm just not sure. Bumping this up for someone else who knows.

They say there's validation at the table service restaurants. I guess it's also 2 hours when it was 3.

The hotels validate for a few hours of hotel parking, not DTD parking.
