Breakfast or lunch In Norway?

Read the menus. Breakfast is very traditional, American-style breakfast.

Lunch and dinner are Norwegian-style (probably not authentic, but as close as you'll get at WDW). Lots of people do like it, and enjoy the change of pace. We chose breakfast because we didn't care for a lot of the ingredients and seasonings in the lunch and dinner dishes described (fish, lingonberries, rutabagas, beets, cauliflower, cabbage, lamb, venison). Although now DH has looked at the menu and said he'd be willing to give it a try :confused3  Maybe next time, already made our ADR's for our trip this September...

Breakfast, I really didn't care for the food at lunch, (or dinner for that matter,) and I'm not at all picky. There were very few things I enjoyed at the later meals, with the exception of the desserts, and a few items on the cold buffet. Out of the three entrees I tried, I only kind of liked one, the other two I was unable to eat. The only reason I would return for lunch or dinner would be the better selection of princesses, and the addition of Ariel, who is not a "regular" at breakfast.

The food at breakfast, however, is very good, and the breakfast potatoes, are amazing, I can't even begin to describe how good they are.

We've done both meals and would choose lunch. The food is much more interesting. The food at breakfast is just your usual breakfast fare. I think it's more fun to try something different when on vacation.

I agree. plus, if you are on the FREE dining package, what do you have to lose?

We had the breakfast last Sept. We liked it but this year we are trying supper.

We tried it for dinner last year. My dh liked his food but he was the only one. I'm not a picky eater but I didn't care for my meal. We are going again this year and we'll be doing the breakfast.

We did breakfast because I knew the kids would eat...the offerings for lunch wasnt going to work. I booked the first seating, 8:30 and it was fantastic

Thanks! Is there a big difference in the princess selection? Better for lunch?

We've never done breakfast, but we understand it is mostly typical American food. We did lunch last year and were not thrilled with it. My DH had the braised lamb and was not impressed and I had the traditional Klotjakae (I know that it is not the right spelling)--it is supposed to be like a meat loaf and I did not care for it. The buffet of cold meats and salads was good though...but not worth the price if you don't enjoy the other items on the menu in my opinion.

Okay so the big thing seems to be the food, Now if food is not even the reason we are going. Well my my dd is so picky she most likeyly could care less what the food is! What is better for the better princesess?

I think it's about even, except Ariel I've only seen at lunch and dinner, and that's the only place she appears as a human.
