Breakfast or Lunch for Hollywood & Vine and Crystal Palace?

I like the idea of booking an in-park lunch so we can be there for rope drop, ride lots of rides, and then eat lunch, rather than doing breakfast in park and missing out on some prime ride time. However, if a restaurant is known for having a yucky lunch, but great breakfast, I'd rather do breakfast.

So from your experience - would you recommend breakfast or lunch at H&V? Thanks!

I've never done breakfast at H&V, but have done lunch many times. I really enjoy it. I've also done lunch at Crystal Palace. Again, can't say anything bad about either place for lunch.

I have done both and both locations and can't say anything particularly bad about either food wise. If you are able to swing a pre-park opening CP though it is pretty amazing to walk down main street when it is virtually empty and you don't miss much if any of the first hour if you can get in early enough. Another option is to schedule right at the end of breakfast and then you can sample both meals. We did this at tusker house.

We have done breakfast at both CP and HV & enjoyed them both. We always aim for as close to 8:00 a.m. as possible so we are not rushing through breakfast to get to RD.

Lately, my DD 9 prefers HV for the characters. The breakfast offerings are comparable at both CP & HV. This trip in Feb, we are opting for HV 8:00 a.m. to hopefully squeeze in a few rides before our late a.m. FP+ ressies. We also decided not to go too crazy trying for 8am CP with all of the hub construction going on...it kind of takes away from the awe of getting to wander around before park opening when you are looking at walls all over.
