Our plans changed and now instead of staying at POR we are going to stay at the BC. I'm really excited about that, but I now have no idea what to do for breakfast most days. I had planned to grab a counter service meal from the foodcourt.

Are my only options the Boardwalk Bakery or a sitdown breakfast?

What does everyone else do?

The Galley does a breakfast buffet which we have always liked. Spoodles does breakfast, you can get coffee etc at Beaches and Cream. Head over the bakery and have coffee and a breakfast item, they probably have breakfast sandwiches...not sure, we usually go for the bad things ;). We have done room service and love it. You can head over to the Swan and Dolphin and have breakfast there or in the Swan, the front bar does coffee and croissant, donuts so does the Dolphin Bar upstairs. The old Tubbi's probably does breakfast...At the Boardwalk, on the floor with the lobby, if you head towards their bar, they have cereals, muffins, bagels, etc. and good coffee with a nice seating area.

The Marketplace carries croissants and pastries, etc, as well as coffee, espresso and capuccino. The Marketplace also carries grab n go items for lunch, or a light dinner. I sampled the gelato there, and it tasted divine.

I happened to really like the Marketplace because for breakfast, I really don't like to do a sit down in a restaurant (it's time consuming, expensive, and I tend to eat more than I should). I prefer coffee and a croissant in the room, or on a bench outside.

I agree that the Beach Club Marketplace is a great choice for a counter service breakfast. They have all kinds of bakery treats as well as croissant sandwiches and a wonderful berry and yogurt parfait. Most of the bakery items could also be counted as a sncak credit for anyone using the DDP.

If you do want to have a sitdown breakfast, the Yacht Club Galley is a nice option. Breakfast is a la carte or a nice buffet.

We haven't done it for years but Cape May is a character buffet meal in the BC.

Beaches and Cream is no longer open for breakfast. It opens at 11am for lunch.

Two years ago, they had breakfast items in the lobby at YC. I remember croissants, coffee, milk and bananas.

As of 12/05, the Marketplace at Beach Club had all the usual stuff at any of the food court/CS places at the resorts. Cape May Cafe has an excellent character buffet. Spoodles is right across the bay. You can get stuff like boxes of donuts/quart of milk using snack credits or get a regular breakfast with CS credits on the DDP.

Wasn't it before that? Boy, my memory is really fading I guess because I thought the BC store was reopened at least by Summer of 05 if not Spring?

we like spoodles on the boardwalk. it is an excellent breakfast! and just a short, quick walk. enjoy!

Thanks everyone! I thought that when we walked through the BC last year I saw a place that served things like that, but, looking at the dining plan info on Deb's site, I didn't see it.

The egg and cheese sandwich and yogurt parfait sound really good! I don't mind eating just a roll for breakfast, but I wanted something a little healthier for my son.

Thanks!!!

Cape May is awesome. Very good food and great character interaction. Favorite breakfast on property
